My overall positive experience with the Apple products I have owned keeps me coming back.

I use Android on a tablet, and it is a great OS in my opinion. I don't force people to a particular mobile OS anymore now that Android is on par, if not better than iOS in some respects (IMHO).

I do however, tell people how easy it is to own Apple products because of the seamless integration and connectivity between the devices.

I'm not. I don't even buy stuff based on need. My needs are simple. I purchase what I like. My Samsung had a larger, nicer screen, and I could just put files onto the phone without keeping them in iTunes (a big deal with regards to video). It accepts more file types, and generally speaking, I can do more because it's not locked down. AND it has live widgets! iOS looks and feels ancient.

An iPhone meets my needs, as I can get everything I do on my Samsung to work within my life. I just don't want to bother.

Apple is so busy making iOS blend with Mac OS10 that they're a step behind.

Then again, what they're doing is important for their ecosystem, and that is important too.
