My choice of mouse is the macally Opinet, works fine, cost less then most, I don't care about the wire, never gets in the way and has all of the features execpt wireless, which I already stated.

This is one of the comfotable mouses I have used, perfect placement for me and just about everyone in my family.

Got one

I just made my mind and bought the Logitech Cordless Optical. Setup was plug and play, but is it just me, or does the mouse seem jerkier than the Pro Mouse? As if it was a lower resoultion?

BTW, stock of the psc750 is running out, should I buy it now?

What might seem to some a silly post, a good mouse is critical. I've tried perhaps 25 of them, have never "felt" the perfect one for me, becasue it is very personal to the individual. I guess my point is, for some anyway, is to be prepared to try many before settling. I'd try the Logitech MX700 first. Good price, great response. The MS Intellimouse is horrible. Good luck

It might actually be quicker requiring you to adjust your mouse speed. Personally I run my mouse speed about 3x the max that Apple allows. I can still do very fine movement but getting across a screen requires about an inch of movement which is much better on your wrist. Granted I didn't do this over night I worked the speed up over a matter of a few weeks.

The man at Harvey Norman said it only had half the battery life of the M$ Wireless Explorer, but I don't want to spend $170 on a mouse.

I've got a wireless optical logitech mouse and keyboard, don't know what model, but the mouse's batteries last 1-3 months and the keyboard so far has lasted >6 months without a battery change. so battery life does not seem to be a big deal with these things

I'm using the Microsoft optical blue mouse, and I like it a lot.

Microsoft makes good mice, I don't care what anyone else says.
They are affordable, and very good. That's all that matters to me :( ;) :D .

mx700 is the way to go, i'm getting one soon for my soon-to-arrive 17" Pb =D
MS make ok mice, i use their corded optical on my windows box. Logitech make real mice.

I got the MX700 only $59.00 plus a $10 rebate, so your looking at $49.00 bucks. I got mine from this Place
