On Disney Plus. The best Super Hero film I have ever seen! I was laughing my head off! Superb brilliant excellent, Reynolds is truly gifted in his creation. I mean he co wrote and produced this one. And the cameo‘s, oh the cameo’s, the way they introduced flame oh my God I was in stitches 🤣😂🤣😂.

The end credits were utterly brilliant too, great mix of film and behind the scenes.

I‘m still laughing about the film 🤣😂😂

Watched it this weekend.

I may not have laughed constantly all the way through, but it was packed with humour, action and more or less familiar faces. Highly recommended (if you're into the genre)!

It was - by far - the best Marvel film in ages...

Cool, except for Wandavision and Loki, I dropped the MCU and Marvel after Endgame as I got into other genres.

Because I loved the 60's version so much, I gave the remake of Planet of the Apes a look.

Some great production value ruined by numerous plot holes and an awful story line. The biggest plot hole being how the planet became populated by humans and apes free of genetic defects. With such a small gene pool to draw from, after thousands of years, I expected a lot of Habsburg Jaw. Another makes no sense plot hole is how the other humans learned about Leo? The only humans who should have known about him are those who escaped from the ape village.I also have issues with the MC being a bigot.😤 He calls the apes "monkeys" for which he gets a harsh fact check from Krull.

I would have loved it if they retold the 1968 story with the 2001 production value.

How was season 2 of Loki?

I am currently on season 2 of Arcane:League of Legends and really enjoying it.

Loki was Ok. Very good at its best, but I'm getting a bit tired of the whole multiverse thing.
So I hope the ending of Deadpool & Wolverine really was the ending of the multiverse saga, or maybe I just interpreted it that way because I am a bit tired of it...

I've not gotten around to Arcane season 2, yet. Loved season 1, and I've never played League of Legends or anything similar, ever.

Season 2 of Arcane is great so far. I hear you about the multiverse, there was some speculation that one of my favourite anime series Attack on Titan would have a multiverse continuation as there is a "fun" spin off called AoT: Junior High or something and there was a funny post credit scene in the recent compilation movie (released in Japan only but have seen it) I hope it just stays like that and we don't get some series sequel.

Oh 🦌, I felt the same way when I saw it, enjoyed the original as a kid (Charlton Heston having a breakdown in front of Lady Liberty ;)).

Genetic defects?
Well some religions believe in the creation story .. 1 man and 1 woman, we’re all from them.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

The CGI apes didn't look at good as the humans in ape make up of the Tim Burton film. The lack of ape mannerism in their movement and sitting ramrod straight on horses😅 was a bit distracting.🤓 But solid story telling made it worth watching.

Next up, Rise of the Planet of the Ape and War for the Planet of the Apes.

Same have the original films on disk, ripped to drive. The original first film is and remains an excellent watch. The reboots are technically sound, narrative & story writing not remotely close. Of the mind do it right or dont do it at all..

I liked this version, but not the ones that came after. I own the original of course. Mentioned before, first saw the original in 1968 at the theater. So well done, great atmosphere. :)
