What must the next iPhone have for you to upgrade?

The iPhone already has all the hardware I want - it's mainly software features I long for - so the only thing the next iPhone needs for me to buy it is a nice design. I don't like the 6 series at all.

I heard a rumor once that Apple was going back to the glass back for the next iPhone with a design similar to the 4 and 4s. I know that's almost surely not going to happen, but I wish they would. I would buy that.
 
Honestly, I already want to upgrade to the iPhone 6S Plus from my 6 Plus - the force touch and rose gold were the things I really wanted. I would love wireless charging too - that's the only thing about the boyfriend's windows phone I actually like. That said I'll also want to retain the ability to charge and sync via a cable as I travel a lot and you can charge and sync much faster through a direct connection.
 
Next iPhone will need to be the same size and shape as the SE but with smaller bezel, a headphone jack and a new copper colour. These things will never happen so its just as well that I think my SE is the best iPhone ever!
 
Next iPhone would be something between SE and 6S similar size, i mean, i ve switched from Z3C to SE, i lost nearly 0,6 inch and size is similar (Z3C is just a tad wider/thicker/heavier)
I wish i have something similar in size, 4'6/4'7 in SE size
It might be possible if Apple reduce the bezel
I m definitely not a fan of home physical button, what i am expecting, its Touch ID on the screen + 3D force touch

Generally things I want:

-Smaller footprint with retained screen sizes or bigger screens in current sizes, pretty much reduce bezels. I really like the look of the S7 edge and think an iPhone would look pretty stellar with a similar design
-At LEAST a 32GB entry point, kill anything smaller than that.
-Battery, battery, battery
-More elegant design; flush camera lens, less prominent antenna lines, blabla. I really think an all glass device would look awesome. If it curved around and met on the edges making it look like a slate of glass I think it would sell me on it. Especially in black where everything is hidden and it'd be sleek. Even better if it adopted that S7 edge like display. It'd be less like you're holding a phone with a screen and more like you're just holding the content.
 
1. Cpu/Gpu of course
2. f/1.7 camera
3. IOS on a 4.7 iPhone 7, not just the 5.5 inch version
4. Fast focus like the Samsung S7
5. Wireless Charging
6. Better screen on the 7 (1080p) not just on the 5.5 incher
7. Smaller bezel
8. Stronger screen

I don't care if the 7 looks the same as the 6/6s. But I want the 7 plus to have smaller bezels. So a 5.5" screen that's smaller overall. I think it also should be lighter as the 6s plus is about the heaviest phone out. Also I don't care about extreme slimmess. I'd rather see them 1mm thicker and have bigger batteries.
 
To upgrade from my brand new SE?

4" model
Edges with sharp corners you can get a grip on instead of slippery rounded ones
Headphone jack
Double the battery life
Significantly upgraded front camera
Power button not opposite the volume buttons (dumbest ergonomic decision ever)
Something I haven't thought of yet that makes it a significant upgrade and worth paying a few hundred dollars for rather than an incremental improvement

Also on the wishlist:
More storage in the base model
Faster charging
Lighter
Slightly smaller form factor with reduced but not eliminated bezels (for easier carrying in the tiny pockets of women's clothes but so you can still easily grip it securely without your touch interfering with what you're doing on the screen - my boyfriend's galaxy edge is impossible for me to use)
Bundled earbuds that aren't painful in small ears
A more scratch and shatter resistant screen
Better water resistance
A wall wart small enough that you can place two of them side by side on the closely spaced outlets and power strips in my house
Even better, a wall wart with room for multiple USB adapters!
A dimmer lowest-brightness setting

think we get waterproof this year and better camera but thats about it.
 
Improved camera- Not that I think that the current one is lacking but I like to see improvements from generation to generation

Waterproofing

Wireless charging would be nice too.
 
For the first time I think Samsung really has a much better looking phone. I don't think there is anything that Apple could make that will have me upgrading my 6 plus anytime soon. Ok maybe a massive reduction in price.

I'll upgrade anyway but some features I'd like to see eventually (I don't expect any or all of them this time round!)

Pretty good predictions, but Apple would not use an X-variant A-chip on an iPhone. Those are reserved for the medium and large iPads...oh, sorry, iPad devices. Phil Schiller was very clear on this grammar mistake lol
 
I can honestly say that I can't think of what I would need. I will probably know it when it's offered to me IF that happens. This is the first year where I'm left not wanting anything other than MAYBE smaller bezels/footprint, but even that wouldn't likely have me upgrading this year. Needless to say Apple needs to wow me.
