L.O.L if thats your requirement you'll be buying the iPhone 20

That's just an awful idea... I'll take slimmer design any day
I can honestly say that I can't think of what I would need. I will probably know it when it's offered to me IF that happens. This is the first year where I'm left not wanting anything other than MAYBE smaller bezels/footprint, but even that wouldn't likely have me upgrading this year. Needless to say Apple needs to wow me.
Well I'm not sure I'll sign up of this exact idea, but I'm one of I'm sure many, who just don't care about how thin my phone is if I can get 4-7 days charge out of it. I've never understood why making it even slimmer is so important. It just makes it bend more easily and limits the battery. I would actually pay a lot more to have my phone thicker, if it was stronger and had a longer battery. I can understand ladies wanting tiny slim phones to fit in their handbags, but unless you have a special need like this, what is the obsession with making stuff so thin.
I'd love to see a straight shoot out poll: If you had to choose, thicker and more battery or thinner and less battery, who would win.
Even better would be for Apple to give people the choice and offer two thicknesses, and I'll be happy paying more for the longer battery and thicker phone.

I can actually see price drops coming. Maybe not the next device, but at some point. Particularly in the states we have reached a point where people are buying outright, or on monthly installments. People know exactly what they are paying for their hardware and $650-$1000 is a hard pill to swallow. I think the SE was in MANY ways a test of the lower priced market. This is pretty much my position, I'm happy with my 6 plus. Unless as I mentioned a couple of posts ago they drop in price, I'll probably wait quite a while now before upgrading. The first few iPhone generations saw massive gains, it is now down to adding a few mega pixels to an already perfectly good camera and increasing the speed of an already perfectly quick device. I think new iPhones (and mobiles in general) will become harder to sell.
I hope Apple has something revolutionary rather than evolutionary up their sleeve, perhaps some radical new battery technology or compatibility with satellites for when outside mobile networks, who knows. I suspect however we'll still have a massive bezel, a few more megapixels, a tiny bit thinner, a little bit faster and a little more battery life.
