I want to see custom watch faces.

It’s doable, via apps from the App Store, but Apple doesn’t provide the feature in the native OS.

Also, new sensors in the next Apple Watch, to help with sensing anxiety.

More mental health attention needs to be added, as opposed to focusing on physical health.

What about you?

I'd like a gesture along the lines of double-tap, but to dismiss what's on the screen.

e.g. bedtime reminder, double-tap activates the change wakeup time option instead of dismissing it.

Custom watch faces and nothing else comes close.

Second would be the Modular Ultra face on the Series 10+. There's no (sensible) reason why not after it being an exclusive to the Ultra for 2 years.

Third would be more control over what action double tap takes.

I can't really think of any new features I would want, and we're talking watchOS here, not new HW.
But whatever new feature we might get, I most likely want a toggle for it (I'm still sour that Smart Stack are there in my face, whether I want them or not).
What I do NOT want in watchOS 12: any kind of Apple Intelligence

There will of course be new features that are (new) HW dependent

And according to rumors, Health app will get an overhaul which will likely be good

Integration of Apple Maps screen in the Workout app for navigation during runs. In this context importing of GPX routes to Apple Maps would be nice.

Touch disabled screen based on activity.

One button start and stop for outdoor runs (none of this push two button gymnastics nonsense).

I hope AOD second hand comes to most watch faces with watchOS 12. It was a massive miss to not be there with the launch of series 10.

It’d also make sense to launch third party watch faces this year so they can now utilize the second hand AOD as well.

So agree. It's absurd they didn't fully make use of such a handy feature. If they won't do it let third parties take full advantage of it.

Agreeable and also instead of measuring from baseline temperature 🤒 measure body temperature from the actual temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The actual temperature is buried deep in the health app, if you want to look it up.

I'm ok with the measurement displayed as the difference from baseline, what's useful to me is being able to see if my body temperature deviates a lot from my baseline.

Indeed it’s a long way to find out about it.  should put it on the data graphs instead of making users find it all the way in the health app. Especially in vitals app.

An os without developers is dead
You can’t imagine the time spent to develop an app compared to the 7€ it costs …
I know right? That’s why you made an app that is way better to track cyclists 🚴 routes than !
