That's true have to agree -- so in comparison the yoobao exec vs chinao wheat what are the differences?

I'm seeing the chinao has a built in flush clip on the back, it seems a softer microfiber front face that the iPad slides into, and also has what looks like a thicker overall leather maybe that's why the higher price difference. I think it'll come down between these 2 for me the wheat looks so sweet would look especially good on my white iPad. :)
The Chinao Wheat case has a microfiber type bezel, and the Yoobao folio has a leather bezel. It's up to you which one you prefer. The former's leather grade is also of a higher quality and looks great with my white iPad. I gave it away when I sold my iPad 2, but the Yoobao I am still using for now, but want to order a new one.

Edit: because it seems, I need more than one case, :) I am also waiting for the Joy Factory Smart Suit 3. Gorgeous case, but does not offer quite the same protection. I always use one case for home, and the other for taking the iPad out and about/ for travelling.

Look at the picture of the rear of the Yoobao case, with the leather flap, under which the front cover tucks. I think it will be a similar design.

Edit: i think I found it. Will look like this, but in the Wheat leather:

Honestly I'm liking more and more using my iPad naked. The cases no matter how thin they are are cumbersome to use. You're not holding the iPad anymore when using a case, even the smart covers. You're holding a case or cover that is holding the iPad. And this is infinitely more uncomfortable. Typing in the split screen where it requires you to hold the bottom side edges especially is difficult with a case and/or cover.

I'm considering more and more to just keep the iPad naked and carry a sleeve around for protection when in my bag or something.

Anyone else feeling this way?

not me..i have owned 5 pads, every version and find naked is too hard to hold on the couch, typing flat is uncomfortable and using in business requires a case when running keynote, etc. Any case adds a bit more to hold and grab. Naked is also too nerdy for business for me.

I totally agree.I find it awkward typing on the iPad, without it being propped up at a particular angle that only a case can provide.

Right now I have a Speck Pixelskin iPad 2 version. Really like this case with the only gripe being the weight. It's pretty darn heavy at almost 10 oz.

Right now I'm waiting for my STM Skinny to ship (hopefully this week). And as soon as the new Pixelskin comes out I most likely will order it as well. I'm really excited to see their revised case. Magnets to work with the awake/sleep feature, lighter weight, two completely separate options for viewing and clasp for keeping it closed. That should be one awesome case at least for my use.

I looked at the Pixelskin last year, decided against it because it was SO heavy, but I loved its appearance. Do you know if their new version will be in a lighter material?

I'm having a really hard time finding the right case and right now I'm back to square one. $6 TPU combo on amazon.

I had the Targus Vuescape on launch day which was nice. However, it didn't have an ideal typing angle for me. Took that back to best buy.

I then got the zaggfolio from best buy and thought I was all set. Again, fit was perfect and everything. I just found that the keyboard was not needed as much as I thought. If an iPad 2 yes, but with voice feedback. Other than rare occasions where it'd then be simple enough to break out my apple bluetooth keyboard. It's just not needed. Returned that.

I've decided I have to go minimal like I did with iPhone (film on back only).

I do need stand and typing mode, also some protection for the back, but minimal thickness.

I've come down to 3 possibilities:

Smart cover alone
Smart cover plus belkin snap type case
Smart cover plus sticker type back.

I really like the targus slim case. It will be perfect once I get the updated magnet version. They are letting me keep the original one so I will give it to my friend where it works with his iPad 2. 2 for 1 basically.

Supposedly they are working on a revised pixelskin-

made it lighter weight,
added a clasp instead of the suction tape,
made the cover fold in 4 instead of 3,
additional viewing options with case and indents from the folds
added the sleep/wake functionality.

If the weight is reduced enough, this will definitely be my go to case. I can't wait to see it released. I asked how much lighter it will be but their reponse really didn't answer my question. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Sounds good to me. It's also important that the changed the cover to the 4-fold configuration; this will greatly add to its stability.

I just ordered the Marware CEO/Hybrid. According to their sales support they have redesigned the case for the new ipad and rectified the magnet issues. They sent me a 25% off promotion so I went ahead and ordered it. Ships next week sometime

I've been using a new Marware CEO cover (working magnets) for week now and am quite happy with it. Also ordered a gecko case with hard back and folding triangel front which I hope to receive today.

Cooler Master Wake Up Case!!

I found out yesterday that the Wake Up case will now fit the new iPad!

Product Page

It comes in a variety of vibrant colours and will look good with a white iPad! The smart cover looks good and it also offers decent protection. It also had a good review on iLounge too!

iLounge Review

I have ordered one for £20 and if it doesn't fit properly I will send it back.

Has anyone else here had experience with this case?

I just bought the Incase jacket select. It made for both the iPad2 and new iPad. It fits my new iPad like a glove.

Think I found my "go to" case

For me, I've been on the hunt for a minimalistic slim case that has stable positions when being used as a stand. I think I've found the case that hits all the marks for me. My iPad is currently sporting a Griffin Intellicase. I've seen quite a few reviews on this case that don't like it for a number of reasons - not enough coverage, too thin, cheap, didn't like the bump on the back.

What I really like about it is that it is probably the thinnest case out there, adds no weight to speak of and works perfectly with the sleep/wake function. Also the typing position is perfect and has no slipping and moving around like most of the other three and four triangle fold covers.
