If you think h20 sucks, just wait for one month with the gophone. I live overseas and so I need a truly pay as you go plan when I come back to America.

I switched from goPhone after one month to h20 and liked it much better.

Here's the thing with both of them. The data speeds are crippled and their customer service is some of the worst I've ever experienced.

Good luck!
Brian

H20 absolutely sucks! I called FOUR times yesterday because I stopped receiving text messages and people wouldn't receive mine...The first lady I talked to was an absolute bitch and told me I "texted too much" and that's why my texting feature was restricted until I was due again! I called again, this guy had no idea what I was talking about and hung up. Called again and he said I needed to jailbreak my iPhone for MMS when I said nothing about that. The FOURTH time I finally got someone who understood me and I could understand them and they still told me I texted "excessively". I guess they have the right to shut you off if they feel like you're texting or calling too much. I Have the UNLIMITED TEXT AND CALL PLAN, yet they shut me off?? This is false advertisement and is illegal. Thank you H20, heres to you running out of business. Does gophone really work with the iphone? like no issues whatsoever? I just need unlimited talk and text, I don't care for data as I am on wifi 98% of the time...I also need a service provider that won't cut me off for something ridiculous like "excessive usage of a feature". They do not tell you what excessive means nor do they notify you when they are going to cut you off. I don't know how long you've had h20 but I've had them since I got my 4s and this is the first time I have run into this problem with them(actually, ANY company)and they are NOT helpful, and they do not give refunds. They are scam artists.

Its called google and also from my own personal experience.

If you only want unlimited talk and text then YES gophone does work with no problems but if you would like to add data and don't care about a monthly plan then you should think about straight talk and get yourself a Nokia E71 phone with the sim card to make it work.

I'm confused. I just looked at the plans for the gophone and its unlimited everything for $50 a month. I thought I could get that plan and then install a apn settings profile for data and it would work? I did look into the straight talk but I don't want to pay $200 for basically just a sim card.

With the 50 a month plan you would still have to purchase data by itself for some reason. I never looked into that because that was not for me. The E71 phone with sim refurbished is now $49.00 I believe.

Signing a contract means that AT&T and Apple have won.

Get a GoPhone sim card and it's almost surrendering, but not really.

You still have the option to go elsewhere if all else fails.

Which plan should I choose with the GoPhone then?

You can either get the cheapest plan and add $25 data. Cheapest would be the 10 cents per call or the $2 per day plans.

Or get the $25 package, 250 talk, unlimited text... and add data. (I would get this one because if you don't use all of your minutes, the minutes will roll over to the next month)
