I generally don't break things out of anger, though, as iBlue said above, doors were made for slamming! And I did once break a lamp, though it was more because I was angry and therefore not really paying attention to what I was doing, so I accidentally knocked the lamp off the desk with my elbow - I didn't grab the lamp outright and throw it.

1. Cell Phone (still worked somehow though)
2. GameCube controller (had to buy a new one :( )
3. Dell Laptop (it deserved it :D )

I usually don't break things in anger, I just get angry when things get broken.

When I was a teen, I was mad because I was grounded for coming home late after a ball hockey game. I was so mad I grabbed my hockey stick (back in the day they were all wood) at either end and broke it in half (without any support in the middle). That actually calmed me down / distracted me because I wasn't acutally expecting it to break.

That's the only thing I broke, for the most part I have a good handle on my anger.

iBlue, <snip>

Oh, and your 'tar is great :)
Hey, I have a wonderful six-pack.

However, mine is well protected! ;) :p :D

As for the thread. Nothing destroyed in anger that I can remember. Although years ago I was very tempted to throw some wonderful governmental proprietary computers out the window!

I broke a broom once out of intense anger for it not working good.

lol I have good self control.

I used to throw my Sega Genesis controllers around back in the day. Since then, I've either gotten better at managing my video game anger, realized of how little importance the games are, or just don't want to destroy controllers because they cost so much now. :)

That reminds me of some more stuff I've broken from anger :p. I've also broken an SNES controller, N64 controller, PSX controller and PS2 controller. I'm not going to break my Nintendo Wii controller though, it costs $60 .

EDIT:
I forgot to add that I've destroyed several PC cases.

Dell

I have a dell inspiron just sitting there doing nothing and i want to kill it!

Does that count?

Cheers,
mike

(in order of severity):

Scratched my phone's screen when I threw it down the side of a bed.

Broke a cereal bowl against the kitchen wall along with two weetabix and chocolatey milk when I threw it at my mother.

Took my doorframe clean out of the wall where I slammed it so hard, and broke the (admittedly very old) stone surround holding it in place, showering one end of my room in brickdust.

Threw my remote control at the wall. Remote control was fine (that's B&O for you), but it took an insulation panel straight off the wall, through the beams in my room and pushed a load of tiles off the roof in my room (my room is a loft conversion).

I don't loose my temper often, but when I do it goes big time. I used to have really big issues controlling it, but now it doesn't snap so easily. I think that's actually worse than how it used to be. When I was young I'd get angry but it wasn't at all severe. Now when I get angry, I go so mad my parents are afraid to come near me. We got a drum kit though, so that's good for venting my energy while playing...

my ex-girlfriend's tamagotchi (i think that's what they're called).

she had kept it from childhood in spite of the fact that every few days it would randomly beep.
the beeping started to grow more frequent (couldn't get the batteries out). one morning, i woke up at her house to the sound of it beeping every few minutes. despite her protestations, i took it to her backyard (it backed on to a golf course) and launched it into orbit with a baseball bat.

other than that one moment, i'm a very peaceful person.

When I still had to deal with my old Windows Box, I would kick the tower when it froze. When something wouldn't load right away, I'd shake the tower really hard. I'm so glad those days are over.

Let's see
A couple of phones (not the cell type).
A door
A refridgerator door. The fridge still works, but the door has a dent in it.

I caught my kid breaking something in anger a couple years ago. I told him if he's going to break stuff, it has to be his own stuff. Otherwise, he's going to have to figure out how to replace it. :D

Edit: For those of you who don't have an angry destructive streak, consider yourself lucky. Iv'e been blamed for breaking stuff (by my wife) when I had nothing to do with it

Reading between the lines I get the feeling that you always wanted to smash that sucker into space and it was just a matter of finding the right moment.

I've only hit a wall a few times. Althought I have a few knuckle dents in the stainless steel fridge door.

I have broken the following:

-keyboards (I had this keyboard that was just not working some keys kept getting stuck. I grabbed the keyboard and broke it in half keys went flying everywhere. I felt a lot better.)

-i always keep a crappy old club in my golf bag.

i tend to always keep a few things that are ok if i break them laying around. i found it is always better to just let the anger out gently instead of letting it build up to where you can't control it.

The windshield of my first car and my little finger, both in the same instant.;)

I launched my high school class ring into orbit. Wish I hadn't done that. It was a really cool ring.

Now I'm older and I'm not so angry anymore, at least I don't really get destructive. I see signs of that behavior in my son, though. :(

My computer mouse, a phone, a cell phone and a X-Box controller. probably more. I used to have a bad temper.

None have worked after breaking them.

My first car...I didn't *completely* destroy it, but I damaged it. It was used, had problems from day one. One day I was about to be late for school and the car wouldn't start, so I got out and kicked it, making a huge dent in one of the panels. My parents still think a shopping cart hit it ;-) (this was almost 10 years ago...I no longer own it)

Not much of anything recently.. but in the past:

1) Television remote. Threw it across the living room, thus damaging a wall in the process.

2) A large china cabinet glass door. I was angry at my parents because they threw out a halogen lamp box that I enjoyed playing with. I happen to be standing next to the door, and it was open, so I flung it shut with as much brute force a six year old could... Nonetheless, it ended up very broken.

3) I hit my dad's old Jeep with a large industrial style broom when I was 11 or so. The tidy little dent cost $200 to fix. Woops.

4) About the same time as the broom incident, I locked my dad in the boiler room in our house. With no windows, he had to break down the door to get out. The hinges were on the outside. Heh.
