What prosesser does the 2g iPod touch
A processor from the ARM11 family that has the v6 architecture. 620mhz underclocked to 533mhz.
The same processor was used on the first generation iPod Touch as well, but Apple underclocked it to only 412mhz.
Not quite. The iPod Touch 2G and 8Gb 3G are the only two models with that processor. Also, they are the only ones with ram that runs at 133mhz instead of 100mhz.
I thought they had different processors but Wikipedia and this website said they were both the same.
The iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch 1G have a S5L8900. Where the iPod Touch 2G has the S5L8720.
So how much faster is the A4 (ipodtouch 4g) then the 2g 8gb?
I'd say twice as fast.
