Should I be worried about the fact that I can't see the model number on mine? I go into System Prefs, Display, Colour, Open Profile...

Manufacturer and Model are both blank..?

:d

I'm not sure if I have any screen inside my MacBook but the screen it uses is 13 inch ... :)

Scroll to #13 on the window, then it will display.

Makes sense, this sentence does not.

Ah doh, I was being silly wasn't I!

I've got a 9C9E it seems and I'm very chuffed with it :) After reading up it seems that this is the 'problem' batch with regard to blues/purples but I can't see anything wrong with mine.

My username is a purplish blue, but definitely still blue. The Touchlite advert I see at the bottom is a very nice blue.. all my icons on my dock look just fine.

The 13" MBP I'm posting on has 9C9F, bought yesterday. I was at a Best Buy and the screen on a floor model looked AWFUL, so I was a little worried. This screen looks gorgeous.

Is there a consesus as to which is the better screen out of all of them?

I have had a 9C9E for about 2 weeks, and my girlfriend has had a 9CBD for about 3 days. One thing I noticed is that the 9CBD screen looks WAY better out of the box using the stock calibration, but with mine using a calibration I got on these boards, compared to her stock, mine looks better. Once she calibrates hers i'm pretty sure they'll look about the same.
