What screen do you have in your 13" MBP?

Which one is better and brighter?

I have had both these screen and IMHO I would say the 9CBD is definitely brighter but image quality wise there appears to be no difference between the two screen.

I have a 9CC2 too. Seems like the latest panel? I'm switching from a late 2008 15" and this screen is definitely less bright. But I guess that's okay. Display looks nice.

I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro and yes I would agree it isn't as bright but just slightly less so. However, the color seems 'richer". That's the only word my wife and I can come up with to explain it

9cc2 here as well. Bought it on Friday. So far it seems good, but I will wait until I hear a few others either complain about it or praise it as the greatest thing ever before I decide if I like it.

I had a random thought: Let's say the 9CC2 isn't as bright as some of the other 13" MBP panels. Does that mean that it draws less power and therefore has better battery life? Or does it mean it's less efficient and that it needs more juice to be the same brightness as a brighter panel thereby making battery life worse?

9C9F on mine, 9CBD on girlfriend's.

I find mine is noticeably brighter at max but retains the same inky blacks. Regardless, both are fantastic.

My girlfriend has the 9CA0 in her 13" MBP. I have 9C9F. I noticed mine is quite a bit brighter but her screen seems to have a better contrast ratio.

(The reason I do not have 9CC2 in the poll was because most people including me were unaware of it's existence when I made this thread) It appears to be appearing more frequently though.

I have the 9CA0 also and it does not appear to be quite as bright as my MBP 15, but it sure does have great contrast.

9c9e here, what is so bad about it? looks fine to me (i am not doing any publishing or anything) Does anyone have a good calibration profile for it?
