I ordered tech armor ballistic tempered glass

----------

I'm currently using the one that came with it lol I always leave it on as long as it lasts.
I've cut a hole out for Touch ID, and used a sharp knife to cut a hole in it above the speaker grill so I can hear people.
I've also chopped the bottom tab off so it doesn't cover the lightning port.

I don't like putting protectors on until the phone is a few week old, just in case there's any problems and I need to return it.

As for screens not scratching.. I have several very fine scratches on my 5S. I only ever have it in my pocket or on the desk, not in a purse (not a fan of man-bags) with keys or anything.
I do keep a tissue in that same pocket, but wouldn't have thought that scratches the screen..
Seriously... I got to say.. Not trying to insult or anything but You're cheap as hell.

haha I don't plan on keeping it like this forever. I'll eventually get a proper screen protector. Especially not rushing into it with the curveyness. Going to sit and wait to see what others find best.

I usually go ZAGG invisibleShield, but stopped once I realised how yellow it turned on my iPhone 5! Went for something different on the 5S but can't remember what, then had it replaced (dropped it, it broke) and never bothered again.

I do have a case on my 6. Spigen capsule, not sure which flavour exactly.

Aren't you afraid it is too solid ? I mean, in case of a shock, you want the protection to absorb the impact. Either it does by damping it (that would be a thick plastic protection) or by shattering (thus absorbing the energy). If you have a rigid and solid protection, it will just let the shockwave travel through and the screen will still break behind it...

Anyway, the screen protection debate just sounds like the debate we have in photography with using lens filters to protect the front lens. You can put a filter in front of your $2000 lens - and usually that will lower the quality to the level of a $400 lens, you might as well buy 5 of them and replace them when they break...
Every protection I tried either shifted the colors, lowered the resolution, changed the feeling of the screen or did not include the oleophobic treatment. It's like using a case: you buy an expensive phone just to ruin its design by an ugly case. And a lot of protection are just gimmicks, like you could actually protect tempered glass by putting an ultrathin plastic sheet in front of it.

I'm always had my 4S in my pocket or strapped to my bike, I have never really taken care of it and it still doesn't have a single scratch on the screen... Same with my camera, I never used a protection filter on my expensive lenses and they are still fine... And at worst, in case of breakage, I have insurance...

I bought a pack of spigen ones. They cover the screen up to the curved edges but not including it, so it's visible. Bear in mind that photos of these type of screen protectors on a white iPhone (like above) will make it look worse as the light refracts against the White glass screen and makes the edges look really bad.

Please forgive the horrible quality of the photo (taken with an iPad) but it does show the outline of the screen protector and how small it is.

I've also got one for my 6 Plus and it doesn't protect the entire screen mainly the area that they feel is important. I think if it covers the entire screen the edges might get worn. I picked up the glass InvisibleShield.. and as long as I can protect the screen.. I'm ok with it. And your alignment seems off from the picture...
