I prefer the size of the iPhone 4. I can barely use the phone one-handed - my thumb can't reach the top corners.

I'd love to see a 5" iPhone but realistically see apple going 4.3" without increasing the size of the phone.

If apple wants to appeal to the elderly, visually impaired, or anyone who doesn't want to squint (age 30+ in my experience), they would do well to have a larger screen option. There are actual physical, workspace, text size, even medical reasons why we should have a bigger phone option.

Keep the tiny screen for the fanboys and apologists, and give the rest of us old people a chance to look at our phone without squinting or zooming to have 3 words per screen.

5-inch to 5.5-inch is really the sweet spot... Make the bezels as think as possible though.... 4-inch is so... outdated!

Hm not quite sure. I would have to see and feel an bigger iPhone to make this decision. On one hand i wouldnt mind a bigger screen then the i5, on the other i still want comfortable one hand operation. If Apple decides to go for multiple screen sizes i would really be in a dilemma.

My personal opinion is that if you want a bigger phone you take the 4/4s screen and increase in the same ratio. I think the 5/5s screen size is too tall against the width.

3.5" wasn't on the poll, so I clicked 4". I know it's a losing battle, so I'll be holding into my 4S until it loses molecular cohesion.

I have great vision and it was never a big deal until I got an galaxy s4. Now, using my iPhone 5 in apps without text resizing options can be straining in comparison. The s4 though is a bit cumbersome in my hand at times (especially one handed and moving around). The moto x is a great size for my hands and I think apple could shrink the bezel a bit more by next year. Keeping a flagship 4" phone may be wise though because there are plenty of people that still prefer a smaller device (my gf for example). There isn't any mini versions of flagships out there that aren't severely crippled. That seems like a segment of the market companies are overlooking.

If Apple wanted to remove the bezels then fine but if the physical phone gets any bigger I'd be incredibly disappointed.

Really? You must have hands the size of a toddler. I have small hands and have no problems using the iPhone 5's 4 inch screen one handed. I could probably do the same if they incorporated a 4.5 inch screen in the current design.

The current screen is way too small. I'd settle for 4.3 but would take anything up to 5.0. I've owned every iPhone since the original and this is the first year I won't own one. Hopefully I'll be back next year.

The iPhone 5C will only be for China mobile and some other markets in other countries, won't work in US (my guess).

If Apple is seriously considering this, it is only if there is a growing market for larger smart phones, and they want to take their chunk of that market.

If Apple does indeed make a larger iPhone, it will be in addition to their currentl product line, and not larger than 5", as, anything larger would cut into iPad Mini sales.

I don't think I would get one, though, I like being able to one-finger (thumb) my 4" iPhone 5 screen, and I like the way it fits in my pocket. But, my guess would be this:

Fall 2014:
iPhone 5 (4")
iPhone 5S (4")
iPhone 6 available in 4" & 4.8" models.

Fall 2015:
iPhone 5S (4")
iPhone 6 (4" only, drop 4.8" model)
iPhone 6S (4" & 4.8")

I could be way off, but, just a guess. (oh, and the larger one would be the thinnest smart phone on the market, thinner than the rest of iPhones)

I don't think they'd do that. The 5/5S 4" screen is just about 16:9 ratio, just right for video, and the larger phone would be a top of the line model, so would be the best one for video. I also think that, if the rumors are true about Apple making a larger iPad that it would not be wider, but only taller, same way iPhone 5 was to the 4S.

After a few months with a Note 2, I've found that 5.5-5.7 inches truly is the sweet spot for me. I've not had any frustration bringing it with me, it slips into most of my pockets without any trouble, and the size increase from my 4S makes everything from web browsing and reading to gaming and watching YouTube videos just so, so much more enjoyable.

If Apple were to launch a 2nd iphone model with a bigger screen I'd love to get a screen the size of my Note's, so around 5.5''. More than that and it gets unconfortable to carry around and use as a phone.

If Apple would decide just to increase the regular iphone's screen, a 4.7''-5'' screen would be best. A 5.5'' screen isn't for everyone.

-IF- they can make the screen bigger without increasing the overall size of the device I would be all for that. If not, I'm happy with the current size.
