64Gb, I dont see why anyone would want anything less.
A lot of people can't see past their own preferences. I went with 64GB but that doesn't mean that I think that everyone else should regardless of their own needs/wants.

I had a 16GB iPad 2. It wasn't full, but I decided this time around I would like to be able to store more vs. stream and not worry about space, so I went with a 32GB. This is the perfect size for my needs.

went with 16gb, but I dont have many movies or music to put on it.

Same here. I use Air Video to stream from my PC if I do want to watch something, but it's rare. I have iTunes match already for my music.

I tranferred my backup from my 32GB iPad 1 to my 16Gb iPad 3rd. I'm using a whooping 4GB...lol. And that includes 1GB for GarageBand.

I decided to forego AppleCare+ and instead use that $100 for the 64gb version. I'll just need to be very careful.

That is exactly what I did, just buy a leather stand so if it falls it has protection, don't buy the plastic hard case, they will just transfer the impact directly to the new iPad in case of accident, my iPad 2 has a leather stand case like belkin flip folio and my nice always dropped it on the concrete like 4x screen first, edge first, back first, but it is still good not even a scratch, I even sold it for $430 on craigslist because it still looks new.

I'm actually going to downgrade from 32 to 16. I realize I'll never really carry my iPad around as a music device (not exactly portable) so I don't need my entire collection. I also realize movies don't need to stay on the iPad once they're watched. I also don't game that heavily on it, so I won't be downloading that many particularly large game files. Now do I snap that many photos with the iPad.

I'm better off saving the 100 dollars.

people who buy the 32 and 64 GB ipads are the same people who hoard every single piece of data they have, regardless if they use it or not, or if it's quality or not. they load all their songs, all their apps, etc.

people who buy the 16 GB ipads are the types of people who operate under a streamlined approach. they only load playlists, rather than every damn song. they only load apps they use on a regualar basis, not every app regardless of frequency of use or quality. they only load 2 or 3 movies, not their whole DVD library that they'll never get to.

what kind of person are you? a hoarder or a steamliner?
