That's also the 1st gen with the FIRST InvisibleShield. From what I understand, they have redone their formula to have less orange-peel effect since then.

I've used Phantom Skinz and they are pretty good as well. I just thought the application process was a little tedious but it look great.

Whats the difference from wrapsol normal and wrapsol ultra?

Here is a photo (not mine) that shows the orange peel effect pretty well. Basically it makes the front glass look not so smooth...and basically "dimply" like the outside of an orange.

I actually went through 2 invisible shields on my iPhone 3G. The first IS had the orange peel effect. However, after putting the 2nd IS on there a few months later, there was no orange peel at all. Everyone I showed my phone to asked me why I didn't have a case or cover on my phone, and I told them about the invisible shield, and they said they couldn't even notice it.

Whats the difference from wrapsol normal and wrapsol ultra?

Wrapsol Ultra is glossy and has "drop protection". Wrapsol "normal" has the matte back.
