Note 2 here also. I love this phone, no problems with it whatsoever. I have had it for a little under a year and this is the first time I've ever had a phone this long without wanting something new

Still cannot put this Galaxy S III down. I know that it is older, but it does everything I need, and looks good at the same time. I wanted to give BB10 a run, but every time I look at getting one, I laugh and ask myself who am I kidding?

If it weren't for the HUGE camera upgrade I'd say a rooted S3 > S4, just thanks to how horribly locked down the S4 is.

Nexus 4 and Moto G...just couldn't put down Moto G for the fantastic battery life, smooth experience and excellent screen and ergonomics.

I have the Samsung Note 2. If I could get a new phone today it would be the HTC One Max.

It is funny that you mention the screen. I thought the Lumia 520 screen would suck, because it is only 800x480 (and the Moto G is even better with a 720p screen), yet the screens still look crisp and sharp. It is great to see 'cheaper' phones can still give a great user experience. Nokia and Motorola are leading the charge in this area.

I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised by the number of iOS users in the poll, considering where this thread is located. The 'eyeball test' of the threads found here would lead me to expect a more resounding figure for Android. Go figure.

It's all the iOS trolls who come in this sub-forum to mess with us! ;)

Nexus 5 for me and extremely happy with it.

I have no complaints about the camera on the S3, except that it sometimes likes to rotate when I don't want it to.

I'm not saying it's a BAD camera, just that compared to the S4 cam there's just no contest. The S4 camera is fantastic, the S3 camera is... passable.

Still using a Verizon galaxy nexus. Tried to get a developer edition moto x when they went on sale but I wasn't quick enough. They sold out. I really want a device with an unlocked bootloader and stock android. I'll have to wait to see if the dev edition goes on sale again.

Nexus 5.

I'm not really enamored with it tbh. Its been a little buggy. And those times when I need a camera have been challenging might sell it for something else.
Have you tried it with the 4.4.2 update. The camera woes have been greatly improved from what I have heard.

iPhone 5c.

Switched to it when my Galaxy S4 broke - ended up not getting my S4 fixed for about a month. At first, I was not a big fan of the iPhone as someone who always used Android and loved it and what it could do. But then about a month later, when my S4 was fixed I switched back to it and suddenly, I couldn't stand it and wanted my iPhone back ASAP. While the screen is beautiful on the S4, its very hard to use one handed being so large. Also email and everything is so much easier on the iPhone (I get lots of attachments, mostly PDFs, and on the S4 you have to download them first, then open them, if they come through at all). Overall I just liked how easy and streamlined everything on the iPhone!

Switched back to my iPhone and now about list my S4 up for sale. Been VERY pleased with the 5c, feels much more solid and well built than the S4, not sure why everyone is always knocking on the 5c....Never thought Id be an Iphone user as much as I used to love Android.

Yeah. The camera is slightly better. Though not much faster. They added a Visual component while taking the shot. Its not much faster. Really its that I'm always worried that a shot won't come out. In addition I get a weird Sim card error.sometimes.

Also battery life is still a big concern.

Picked up a gold 5S at the beginning of the month. Still am using my One and GS4. But the GS4 gets almost 80% of my usage. It's that good of a device.

I'm thinking of picking up a cheap G2 off CL and selling my One. Then next month, buy a Galaxy Note 3.

This

@Tbayrgs, the numbers looked skewed, you might want to differentiate those solely using iOS.

Can't tell since I already voted but did the poll allow more than one item to be selected?

And even if users are using both OS, I'm still a bit surprised it's as high as it is. Not reading anything into it, just didn't match the vibe of the comments around this sub forum.

I'm sure many iOS users who just happen to stroll by here and see this topic gladly make the effort to put their vote in :p

I prefer iOS over Android. I had an Evo 4G for a year and a half and it was good for the time but iOS fits me better. Music app saves my place on my radio shows I DL and all my Apple devices talk to each other. Even when I had the Evo I stuck to my iPod Touch 1st gen for most things and I actually like the way Apple devices function more. iOS7 needs to clean out the bugs (Music app alone has too many) and I get a little envious when I see the big ass GS4 screen my coworkers have, but I tend to USE my iPhone more while when I had an Android device I tended to futz with it more (rooting, swapping out different builds, installing whatever new interesting side loading apps I could find)
