I have a wonderful friend who said to me once (when I was moody & feeling sorry for myself) " Cheer up you big fanny!!". I first thought "You cheeky...." then I started laughing & really laughed. If I feel low I think to myself "Cheer up you big fanny!!" :D:D:D:D

What works for you?

May sound hookie, but ever time I see my wife's smile or the way she looks at me, it brightens up even the darkest days....

Not in the slightest.. I'll even 1up you:

Everytime I see my wife's smile, or see my son run to me or my daughter crawl to me, arms wide, wanting a hug and saying in their own little language "Love you, daddy!"...

No matter how horrible the day has been, knowing that I've come home to them washes all of it away.

BL.

Two things.

1: My GF/Soon to be Wife's smile and embrace if I've had a nasty day.

2: Popping the top on my Corvette and slamming it down some empty back-roads.

Used to be going for a ride on my motorcycle till someone decided to almost kill me, albeit unintentionally, lol

I guess music is another one, and good old memories which work, i guess :)

Oh, interwebz always works for cheering me up :D

Going for a ride on my motorcycle. The feeling of freedom can snap me out of a bad mood pretty quick.

hahaha, and here i thought I was the only weird guy who rode to de-stress :p

What snaps you out of a bad mood?

Helping others in need.

Buying a present for someone, just because.

Thinking about how lucky I am to live in America and have the opportunity to have a successful career and future compared to those in third world countries.

Just reading this elevated my room to an even happier me!! :D

I am fortunate to have a race track about 15 minutes from home. Nothing like taking the aggression out on the track. Biggest thing that upsets me is stupid people. And by that I mean people who do not think before they do.

just hugging my kitties is usually enough (and for those times when that doesn't do it; I have medication ;) )

lately I have not had to resort to any method as Macman keeps me happy :)

Going out for a long run usually snaps my bad mood. Additionally if I have karate that night, working out there usually helps as well.
