Facebook sucks. It is the new myspace.

Get off it now and be ahead of the curve.

So I think everyone needs to put the first letter for the carrier from now on. People who say Viphone forget that the iPhone is actually available internationally on multiple carriers.

I agree. The carrier you are running isn't really a big deal.

The problem with FB is that the app developer adds things but then screws up other things that were working. It’s a good practice to keep copies of apps somewhere else, so you can go back to a previous version, if something gets fuggled. I just did and FB is much better.
The new up is using the m.facebook.com site so it won't have to update as much. This is according to Mashable and TechCrunch.
That's right. Finally, the app is using the same backend as the mobile site. I've already seen updates to it without downloading a new app update. Ex. The new pop out look of Like and Comment.

They mean CDMA iPhone which Verizon is the only one currently carrying.

My only issues with it are the photo comments not showing unless you go to the authors page and look and you STILL can't copy any text. That's just ridiculous to me. Also, the notes notification link doesn't work.

Also, people who think Facebook is useless generally have friended everyone and there brother. It's only useful if you friend people you actually intend to keep in touch with (my list is probably around 50 at the most).

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8H7 Safari/6533.18.5)

No I mean the quality of the app is slipping in quality

You're right. It takes hours to update comments that I see on any computer.

Facebook is the new AOL. It will collapse upon itself.

People need to understand the internet and why it has become so succesful to understand the idea of facebook is not going to maintain itself for very long.

It runs counter to everything the internet was built on and is a regression directly back to online services like AOL.

I very much agree ... one day people will say ... I can't believe I was on Facebook?

i agree.. ever since the last update it has been so buggy, crashing, comments not being there, notifications number is always wrong etc. I hope a update is coming soon:apple::apple:

...what is wrong with it? Seriously? Do you have any ACTUAL complaint, any sort of viable reason/competitor that might cause the fall of Facebook? If you do, I would sure like to know. Or do you just like to be annoying trolls?

Facebook has been really glitchy the last week or so both the iPhone app and the web version. Facebook is working on fixing the issues as soon as possible.

lack of a viable business plan for one ... unless you consider being the biggest Spam machine the internet has ever seen good.

number 2 - 1000 ... privacy issues

Facebook crashes virtually every time I use it.
It will appear to be working like normal and suddenly slow down to the point where it's unusable and eventually crash, leaving me on my homescreen.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled, power cycled, etc.
Nothing has fixed the problem.

Where is your multi-biliion dollar company if you know so much about how the internet works ?

People like you like to talk big, but you have no better clue of what the future holds

No one can predict what the next "hit" video will be, no one can predict what the next "facebook" will be

Facebook works because it feeds on people's desire for narcissism, and I don't see things changing for a very long time.

Add to this the strange nature of people who join facebook for various reasons.
There are people who join facebook just to play Farmville
There are people who join facebook just to look at pictures of pretty girls
There are people who join facebook and set every privacy setting to maximum
etc etc and you can see it's impossible to say when Facebook will decline, be replaced, etc

It sometimes screws up on my AiPhone, but others, it works flawlessly. I dunno. It is really annoying with the stupid notifications that appear, and then there is nothing!

Mine's working fine. I guess you need to delete it and re-download it from the App Store again.

I have to do this weekly, for various reasons.

This week's issue is that it always says I have 1 unread notification, like the flag for the last one won't clear. I exit and go back in and it tells me the same one is unread, over and over. Deleting and re-installing actually isn't fixing that.
