What the hell is MAc Fuse

I got given it by a lecturer who uses a Mac so I could access my uni server from home (to upload PHP scripts etc), didn't have to install it, just ran it - I only just noticed now that the logo says "MacFUSE" in small writing.
My bad - I wasn't aware it included any MacFUSE frameworks. I thought that it was being implied that to use SSHFS you needed to install MacFUSE - that is where I got confused
