a self cleaning screen. that would be a very nice feature indeed.
Or a phone.
Or some windshield wipers.....
What the iPhone needs the most is what it is getting.
Or a more durable back
Or a system for syncing text messages to your computer
be original now don't ask for the same old. a self cleaning screen would be pretty original and useful.
I had a ipod touch with the chrome back and the same silicone case. took the case off and the back looked horrible my iphone 3g looks far better in the same dusty environment.
Please someone tell me that this is a straight joke. A self cleaning screen!? How the crap would anyone (even Apple) manage to do that crap.
How many freaking times to do I have to see a "New iPhone Crap" thread on this forum. WAIT ONE FREAKING MONTH!
What the new iPhone needs is proper localization for it's international markets.
The iPhone is a failure in Japan among Japanese people because it lacks any type of localization and gets absolutely murdered by the capabilities of Japanese phones.
Complete user customization (without jailbraking)
You dont need a new iphone for that
Or a faster processor.
I want my iPhone to be as smooth and quick as my iPod touch 2G.
They could create a screen that exhibits the lotus effect.
Basically just wipe the screen with a cloth and BAM, instaclean. Dang, I should have patented that. Now I lost millions.
Ooo, then coat the screen with what they coat Blu-ray's with, then it's super easy to clean and essentially scratch proof.
of course it is. tell we get a little further along in technology and invent force fields or repelling screens of course.
waterproofing is very good. and possible.
what the new iphone needs the most is
people who are convinced about the new Product (whenever it'll be available) and actually will buy it. Maybe a little less whining and complaining compared to the current models.
What it really needs is a "Documents" area of memory, where you can save your files , especially attachments received in the mail app. All apps should have acces to this area of memory so that you can open and save files to/from it in your apps.
For example someone emails you a word document. You can save it to your "Documents" folder on the phone. Then open it in Quickoffice and make a few changes. Then you could email it back, or transfer it with Air Sharing, etc, etc.
The iPhone genuinly needs this sort of functionality. I hope they address it in 3.0.
So that we get the real internet like Jobs said with the iPhone.
The problem is Apple aren't very good at localisation period. Never have been.
I needed it 2 years ago.
Hands english06 a Valium.
JK. But what do you expect? This is a rumor site about Apple gear. Are you really surprised to see threads speculating new features?
