All of the people in line for the 6+ will settle for the 6 once it sells out.
And go to the Apple store everyday and hope to trade out once stock on the 6+ gets in.
Which is a real scumbag thing to do IMHO.

Apple usually limits you to two iPhones. Carrier stores 5 (1 for each new line of service)I wonder what time they'll start passing out tickets or give signs of what they have. I was planning on getting there by 5:45 AM or so but I'll be pissed if I stand in line for 4 hours and be told I can't get one.
My saving grace may be that most people are doing ATT, Verizon, or Sprint, and I got T-Mobile.
Any idea if they'll limit how many you can buy? I would hate to have some scalper buy 50 units and yolo while real customers are left behind.
iphone 6 64 gold
7 Am friday -
my mall less people
Chased off?? I hope that doesn't happen. Where do people normally wait in line when when it's an "inside the mall" store?I think it depends on the city, but I can tell you that in our area (Seattle and Vancouver), arriving at any of the Apple Stores after midnight will put you a hundred people or so back from the front of the line.
Last year we took in the Seattle stores, arrived at Alderwood at 10:30pm and were about 25 back, but security was chasing people off the property. So, we moved on to University Village, arriving at about 11:15pm, and were 142nd in line. The guy at the front of the line had arrived Thursday afternoon at around noon.
The previous years lining up at the Vancouver area stores, anything past 10pm put you into the 100+ place in line.

Don't kid yourself. The Plus is going to be as rare as hen's teeth on Friday. If you want to snag one, you'd better line up real early. The scalpers are going to be all over this launch like white on rice, especially to get the Plus.
I'll be there at 1am Friday morning. Currently stuck in processing.

Depending on which model you are going for I would do the following:
iPhone 6 = 3am
iPhone 6+ = 12am
Nope! I've been here and done that before 5am and you will be fine. Trust me on this one. Apple is expecting to sell 80mm units in a single quarter.
You do not want to be THAT guy waiting in line at the Apple Store all night only to find you could've been there at 5am and still walked away with an iPhone 6+. You don't need to be the first person in line literally when Apple has ordered 80million iPhones to sell in one quarter.Good luck with that. If you are looking for a Plus and thinking you can show up at 5AM and get one, you're dreaming. A regular 6, maybe.
Many people, including myself, are expecting the Plus to be in very similar to the gold 5S. The first 20 people in line got one and that was it. Some stores even less than that. The Plus was sold out just from people ordering off the IOS app before apple.com came up. If you throw in there that obviously you will be looking for a certain capacity/carrier, your chances of getting what you want are even slimmer.
I hope I'm wrong and time will tell, but I certainly wouldn't risk it.
