Mine came just after 8 am. The driver said she lived near me and my house was the first stop of many for her that day.

I got mine at around 8:45 p.m., which was annoying, because generally UPS comes around between 11 and 3 p.m. That driver must have had a super long day! This year, I am getting it delivered to work, which always has UPS delivery by noon.

Ahh! All these late delivery times are worrying me! I have work at 4:45 on Friday (could show up at 5:30 if I really wanted to) and someone might not be home after that! D:
Maybe I'll take off, I don't want to risk missing it then have them lose it.

Do they typically leave these at your front door? Or do they require someone to be there to accept it?

I had to sign for mine, Since my wife & I will be at work this year on Friday I will am having someone just house-sit for us. I am hoping since I live in a little bit bigger city then what is around me that the two iPhones will show up at the same time instead of being at 2 different times.

Just looked on FB because of course I had to post the dorkily gleeful pic of the new phone in its box just after it got here last year and it showed up prior to 10:30 am, probably somewhere around 10:15 or so. The UPS guy was talking to me about the whole ordeal and said that what their plan of attack was was to bust their asses to deliver as many as possible by 10:30 because that was their service level guarantee. Any that weren't delivered by 10:30 would be delivered during the course of them running their normal routes. 10-10:30 is pretty close to UPS's normal swing through my neighborhood (well, one of 'em).

They require a signature.

i remember it like yesterday. It was the iphone 4s, a replacement for my iphone4.

It was a windy day, 30mph, blowing out of the north west which is odd for michigan.

I was cleaning up the kitchen, the prior night my wife had spilled a couple drops of red wine on our brazilian cherry hardwood floors. While the wine didn't actually stain my floor, it was slightly sticky, so i had to scrub quite a bit.

My neighbor knocked on my door around 2:13pm (est) and asked me what lawn company i was using, because he was unhappy with some weeds that were growing in his yard. I explained to him that i had manually removed some crab grass, and that is why my yard resembled that of a high end golf course. I told him that due to the uncommonly warm winter we had, the per-emergence spray that was applied probably wasn't as helpful as prior years.

Anyway, my neighbor left and i was playing frisbee with my austrlian shepherd. She's a blue merle, and she has one blue eye, and one brown eye. I love her brown eye.

On or about 2:21pm (est) we heard a diesel truck at the gate to our subdivision. I jogged from the back yard towards the road, and my dog followed me.

Much to our dismay, the diesel truck that sounded like a ups truck was actually that of a sprinkler company doing some work in our neighborhood.

Sadly, i took my dog inside and i walked over to my liquor cabinet. I poured a glass of glenfiddich 30, (aprox three fingers), and began to drink. Glass upon glass upon glass.

I woke up the next morning around 8am and my iphone was on the porch, my wife had left me, and my dog peed in the living room.

+1, my phone came at about 6:30pm EST, UPS usually comes around 3-4. The driver said his truck was full of little packages like mine all day.

I would hate to be working for UPS or FedEx on this day. I bet they would not be in a good mood then. I will talk to the driver that comes to my work and ask how his day is going. Be nice if he had my package, but I live in a different town then I work at.

ALL bets on schedules will be off! Apple sold TWICE the number iPhone 5 units as they did the 4S! It could be 9pm for some residential deliveries.
