Does anyone know if it will be OTA?

If so I will do it at work. However thought OTA was onl for delta updates.

i dont understand all that PDT, PST and EST ect... it confuses me! one country. 1 timezone. stick with it people

It's great fun (??) - in the US, there are four time zones for the continental US plus a -3 hour difference for Hawaii - and I'm not sure what time zone Alaska is in.

As if that weren't enough, twice a year, each time zone shifts an hour ahead (spring) or an hour back (fall) to keep the daylight during the main part of the day. THEN, there are areas who do NOT shift that hour twice a year and stay on the basic time all year around (called standard time).

By the same token, GMT is either -8 hours (winter months) or -7 hours, (summer months).

No problem telling time around here!

BTW - thanks to the poster for the chart of release times. Seems a hard thing to find in all the hoopla about the iPhone 5.

Or you can just pirate it. I had the iOS 6 GM downloaded five hours after it was seeded to developers. I do that for all the releases even if Apple has officially released it because I like having the IPSW file available to me whenever I need it.

I don't think you really understand what a delta update is. All it means is that the differences between the current and the next release are rolled up rather than the entire release. I has nothing to do with versioning or version numbers.

Do you have to go though iTunes to download?

When I went to iTunes it said no update was available. However, when I went to settings on my iPhone 4s then General then Software Update it found iOS 6.0 update is ready for download. Try that. I had my iPhone plugged in the wall with iTunes open on my iMac.

A note worth mentioning, my sister lives in New Mexico and hers is not picking up the update as of yet. Did not know they are doing it by region.
