The Apple TV went on sale at 9am EST, that would be my guess here also.

Yep. I waited up till Midnight Pacific for Apple TV and it didn't go on sale. Woke up at 7am thinking it would go on sale by 8am, only to find out it went on sale at 6am pacific!

Going to stay up until midnight, and then set my alarm for 5am. Ugh

I read a lot of PDFs on my ipad, and have been tracking rumors about this project for 2 years now. It's nice to see it finally materialize. I'm so excited!

I've been a HUGE Wacom user (Intuos and Cintiqs) for so many years professionally. I've literally had dreams that Apple created an iPad with a pressure sensitive drawing device. I'm seriously freaking out for this product

This lack of a launch time, while completely a first world problem, is total BS. Why would they want to let down their biggest fans / early adopters? We're literally their ambassadors and free marketing. Kind of crappy that we're this close to "order" day and don't have a clue.

I'm not staying up to check in the middle of the night. With a new iPhone or the Apple Watch it's a no brainer - but besides me I don't know one single person who's shown interest in or even discussed the iPad Pro (not including a forum dedicated to the topic.) I don't think Apple is expecting a worldwide global seller here - otherwise they would have told us an actual time to buy and a day they'd be available. They didn't do that for either. I'm betting it's going to be pretty drama-free getting ahold of these.

but tim cook was very certain in his interview that now who will buy PC? I was wondering if ipad pro become a hit product what will happen to macbooks and imac etc..

And even then, they didn't give a guaranteed day, but only a window that was after they went on sale in stores. I really really hope the iPad Pro launch is not as disorganized as the Apple TV launch.

As excited as I am for this product (seriously this is the device I wanted the original iPad to be) I'm not going to lose sleep over it like I did for the iPhone launch because I think demand will be more reasonable, especially with the LTE models. If I'm wrong then I can live with it and wait a few weeks, even though I'd prefer to get it at launch. Just curious if everyone is ordering a pencil/keyboard at launch. I plan to get a pencil but don't immediately need the keyboard which is a tad over what I'd like to pay (plus I want to try it in an Apple Store first if possible). Good luck everyone!
