what to do about a brainwashed girlfriend?

I get the feeling that going far away to college could be the best thing possible for her.

they think they are great parents, i would be shot in the process of mentioning it. I wish i could take her and so do my parents.

Seriously, simply WOW! I'm glad everyone got out ok. You must of been scared for your life when all that crap was going down. Although, it could of been a bit smarter to do a covert op at night while these psycho's were sleeping.
yeah, i thought the guy was going to kill me and my father. If i ever see that man around my house, i'll chase him with my gun and it will be loaded, he said it wasn't loaded by the way. I'll take out his bad shoulder so he has to have surgery, and take so much business away, its already totally out of place. Then he goes to jail, mother loses other daughter because she is so crazy and wont have money. and we can have the daughter, hopefully.

you don't need parents to tell you about the world and life. Anyone with experience can do that. After you turn 18 bone out, she doesn't need her growth to adulthood hampered and stunted by someone that possessive and over baring.
Move out on your own. Get a job. Then come get her. She will also need a part-time job at least, people gotta eat. Together you should be able to afford a car, a place, and some fun on the weekends. The world is a big scary place and there are no rules, that's part of why they at least try to enforce the law. Be strong and keep your wits about you.
At first it might seem a lot harder than it sounds, but if you get practiced at it it will become as easy to go to school and work and pay bills and rent as it is now to get up and get dressed. Practice.
Don't let the hashness of the unrepenting 30 day cycle come between you two no matter what. It happens to a lot of couples that start out together, but if you remember that being together is the #1 important goal then you can come at everything as a team.
You can do it. Always search for the answer to the question, "What is man?" And "Do" without thinking. It's gonna be easier than you thought in the end.

Actually, if her parents are being dickweeds and threatening you and being supercruel and abusing their kid, you could call the cops.

30 min south of san antonio. Its pretty funny how evil these people think i am for what i have done. What i did was for the best possible outcome.
Man, I'm glad that things turned out pretty well for you guys so far. I went through a similar (though nothing near as severe -ie: being threatened with a gun, cops being called, etc) thing with my family- they really didn't approve of the girl I was dating. Got the guilt trip from my sister and everything. Stayed with a friend at college for 2 weeks while some stuff got ironed out (temporarily), then moved out shortly after graduation. Things pretty much stayed tense for 15 months (they tried to ruin our wedding, and succeeded in some aspects).
In the end, though, everything has turned out pretty well, though. We've been married for 18 months and a grandson never hurts, either.
