What to do with my G5 Quad

Sweet thanks for the driver and yeah when they throw them out they go into a back room. My dad just goes by the room every now and then to see whats been tossed. When he found the G5s there where just at placed right next to each other in a row. He grabbed them quick since he had assumed they where mac pros(he didn't know how to tell the difference at the time XD). But yeah all the G5s are in mint condition, some time next week I might post a photo of all them in my room getting worked on lol. I cant wait its gonna be a lot of fun getting them running. Ill be sure to let you know when we got one ready.

You are so lucky! I would love to get my hands on another quad. My LCS is failing and even opening a web browser turns the machines jet turbines to maximum.

If you planning on selling, I might be interested in purchasing one as well. They are hard to come by and are way overpriced.

That sucks Rawweb, So far the past few years my G5 quad that use once and awhile hasn't leaked yet (I hope it wont start now that i just said that XD). I am worried some of the others could develop a leak or have one already from being in storage so long. I honestly think the ones I have where used for less then a few months by their condition. I have seen a few G5s that where used daily when I worked at my school district and they where clogged full of dust and everything ( all where air cooled G5s at the school). The one fixed up recently just had dust built up from sitting but the fans where clean and the radiator on the heat sync didnt have really any dust inside. I do remember one of the quads didn't have its hard drive wiped and when i checked the file dates (there where hardly any files to begin with) but some where only dated only a few months after the manufacturing date. So i really don't know why these G5s where hardly used.

SPf2: Ill be sure to post something next week when I get them all to my house about each ones specs and everything since if i remember correctly they all where a bit different from one another. Also I don't understand why people overprice them so much it seams ridicules since now they are ten years old and are stuck on a unsupported OS sadly. Like The G5 is a powerful machine its kinda sad that they cut its support life so short
