I'll use littler words for you.

Apple is releasing a watch that can make phone calls, which is something that many have said is the greatest shortfall of every smartwatch.

You claim that this is not a radical makeover.

What would you define as a radical makeover then?

I’ll tell you when you correct the grammar in your post.

Is it just me or is the iPhone 8 the ugliest iPhone that Apple is going to produce? This camera sticking out for the 3rd time on an iPhone is absurd. Get this thing flush would you!?!?
Most people don't care. If you're raging, get help. Or put your phone in a case and you'll never notice.

Wow, they are doing a great job of keeping the revolutionary features a secret. Only rumors of stuff that have been available on Android phones for years.

Particularly interested in the Apple TV.

Still won't buy one but I'm interested to see what it is and if there is any level of differentiation from the ATV4 other than 4k/HDR support, pretty shameless if not.

Soon we will know if the 'notch' will look seamless or frowny...

[snip]

Hopefully both Touch ID and the camera notch (frown? whatever we are gong to call it) can be somehow incorporated underneath the screen in future models, and that will be the best of all worlds.

I'm hoping that the new Watch will be the vehicle for Touch ID under display development. Back on the iPhone 5S, Touch ID was "slowly" implemented and validated in massive field use. Initial testing in unlocking was expanded into Music and was then expanded to payments, and so the story goes. I Would think the Watch would be a "safe place" to explore a Touch ID under glass. If it is successful, it can be reincorporated back into the iPhone.

I feel like I nailed the Touch ID unlock button on the top right corner of my new MacBook Pro with Touchbar, so I'm hoping for two for two.

No one interested in the Bluetooth 5 standard? Will Apple bring it already? I think that´s the biggest and most useful feature to add. And it will pave way for manufacturers of headphones, speakers and other stuff when Apple show it off.

If this generation of iPhone and Apple Watch haven´t implemented Bluetooth 5 I´m passing, cause I know I´ll have to buy new ones next year anyway...

Even the headline reporting is astounding:

Redesigned iPhone, LTE Apple Watch and 4K Apple TV

LTE Apple Watch implies a soon to be released IoT headless device is coming soon. World's smallest internet connected computer with local Bluetooth connection (or utility USB? port) to the end use. LTE5 coming soon.

and not factual.

there have been a few small wristworn internet / online computers in the past.

I just think it's hysterically funny that no one here is the least concerned about UNLOCKING the iPhone 8 without TouchID while driving. Regardless of what the law is in any state, we know people do it every day.

How will this possibly not be catastrophic using Face or Iris SCAN while driving? I'm open to ideas.
Will the phone recognize you in profile form the adjacent seat? Something else?
Holding the phone up to your face while driving will be an epic fail!
I can see the Samsung commercials now, starring Toonces The Cat That Could Drive! LOL

It's that awkward moment when you realize you're the only person in the room that realizes someone left a nasty fart.
Are the fanboys just too afraid to admit it?

Here's a novel idea... STOP USING YOUR PHONE WHEN DRIVING AND TRYING TO BLAME APPLE FOR YOURS (AND OTHERS) BAD DRIVING HABITS.

yes. Holding the phone up to your face while driving is an epic fail. DON'T DO IT. Don't even touch your device when driving.

that awkward moment that you're trying to make a ridiculous statement about distracted driving and blaming a device for not making it easier for you to do.
