Not really, you are only as good as your tools. In fact, your tools often stimulate creativity. Your tools are supposed to help you, not stifle you. I'm seeing lots of Windows 10 around. Not so much Mac anymore. So stale. And Timmy Cook doesn't seem to care. Just give 'em more bug fixes.

The fact that people call his TIMMY just shows how old they are.

If iOS 12 doesn't play the first song that I ever downloaded from iTunes every time I start my car, then it's a roaring success.

(I know every noise of Kayne West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing" by heart)
That used to happen to me quite a bit with my iPhone 4. Except that it did it alphabetically. So for me it was ABBA’s take a chance on me blaring out of the speakers every time I started up. I used to get wierd looks, so I just leaned in to it and flashed the devil horns out the window and turned it up with the windows down.

Again, no. Creatively...you’re as good as your accumulated life experiences, imagination, curiosity, ambition, education, desire, and on and on. I know loads of people who make photographs with expensive cameras, computers, etc all in the quest for having “the best” gear. And their photographs suck.

And as I said previously, my 2 year old 5K iMac has yet to not perform outstandingly using the above creative apps I mentioned previously. An iMac Pro would even be better, but is not necessary for my work.

As soon as you get away from needing the best tools, and think about what you really want to achieve, and devoting your life to it, the sooner you’ll relize how true the above is.

No disrespect, but I imagine you’re very young. It’s really easy to fall in the “I need to have the best tools” thinking they’ll inspire you to be creative trap.

So ... "jony" or similar knicknames of Apple's top brass doesn't show maturity? Apple has been doing that for decades.

New hardware usually isn't part of WWDC. WWDC is a developer conference.

That had only changed to fit your statement the last 5-6yrs.

Traditionally WWDC always featured new hardware (announcements).
[doublepost=1528066784][/doublepost]Honestly, I think MB, MBP's and iMacs will get updates spec bumps. Maybe the MB/MBP get new keyboard announcements. New VR hardware partnership and kit announced to be shipped from online store, available to test in the stores.

Mac Mini officially pronounced dead. Meaning no Mac's under $1000CAN/USA.

The placement of the number 12 within the white square is almost as upsetting as The Notch. OMG I'm so done with Apple. Where is my safe space?

Holy crap, that image was created by Apple?! I thought it must have been done by MacRumors or something because Apple would never use space so poorly. Apparently, they would.

When Apple finally updates the Mac mini specs (and adds a battery) it’ll sell like hot cakes and a million albums and films and apps will finally be finished.

The keynotes have been “disappointed” because we had almost everything leaked already, and since nobody can match Jobs in t rms of presentation, they keynotes ended up a bit meh, especially since we already knew the things they were going to announce.

The most recent "hello again" keynote was one of the most disappointing ever, because using "hello again" to announce it was an obvious reference to the original launch of the Mac, and then the iMac. And so it was reasonable to expect the reveal of something really new and exciting - revolutionary even. But all we got was that silly Touch Bar. It was a huge mis-management of expectations I think.

Without updated hardware... not sure what I will do about much needed personal hardware refresh cuz I do need a new laptop, and I was holding out hope for updated non-touch bar mbp *sigh*

If iPhone SE 2 is really like that, probably it would have been the original iPhone 6 design which Steve Jobs has planned. But Apple just held back the new features and released them separately in different generations.

Waiting for AirPower and AirPods 2 (bluetooth 5.0 support) but as the rumors it seems hardly to introduce/ sell them in this WWDC 2018.

We need more customizable watch faces.

2018 and there’s still no rectangular face option (except on Hermes) on a rectangular watch.

When Apple allows iTunes to minimize when you double-click the title bar, I will celebrate.

Oh goodie! Tim Cooke will grace me with a Rainbow Themed "pride" watch face. Boy, oh boy... I couldn't wait for that announcement... makes my year. NOT!

Here we go again... Tim Cooke pushing his personal agenda(s) on everyone. Do I get a "special" Breast-Themed, "Heterosexual Pride" watch face? I mean, just to make it "fair"?

After all... don't we all want to "feel" special and push all of our personal agendas on everyone instead for sticking to our jobs-at-hand?

Tim? Hello, Tim? Hey... how about fixing all of the bugs created in Sierra and then even worse, High Sierra? And while you're at it making great Macs again that [at least] make it "feel" worth the high-as-hades prices Apple charges for your hardware offerings?

Tim... just give me Apple-related wares, and once and for all leave your political/sexual agendas where they belong... in YOUR OWN [private] backyard!

Come on... Tim!!!

Nothing better than a bit of feigned outrage at a fictional scenario :)

Well, exactly, I'm pretty fed up with my tools.

I would like a modular Apple box with some bang up to date speedy gubbins inside and the space inside for a few drives I can change myself. Oh, and a load of different ports to plug all sorts of things into. Don't give a **** what it looks like, but Apple if you're out if ideas - how about silver with a load of holes drilled through the front?

Also, a laptop - again not really bothered about looks or size within reason. Again some speedy gubbins, space for at least 32gb of ram and the ability to change the hard drive myself would be super spiffy. I guess a user replaceable battery would be pushing it but hey, there's no harm in asking...
