...for about $9K with maybe a $2K "best stand ever." 💰💰💰How about a new Studio Display XDR with Quantum Dot, Thunderbolt 5, and 120Hz to go along with refreshed Mac Pro?

Just curious, but why would the new Mac Pro and Studio be updated to the M4 chip instead of the M5? Wouldn't the M5 be the better chip since it's the latest? I'm not sure of the differences between them or whether an M4 Ultra is better than an M5.
Not sure what you were reading, but this is from the article:Nothing has been mentioned regarding blood pressure. Also I wouldn’t trust the watch to be accurate in that space either.
I'd also like to see the watch gain blood glucose monitoring. I wouldn't trust either of those any more than I trust the current skin temperature, O2 or ECG from the watch. Data collected with dedicated medical-grade devices is always going to be better. However, the watch can help indicate a problem people might otherwise not know about, giving them more time to consult a doctor for medical intervention (if needed) sooner than they otherwise would have, which is almost always going to have a more positive outcome than no monitoring at all.Apple Watch Series 11 could support blood pressure monitoring. The feature won't measure exact systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels, but will instead measure trends and alert the wearer if high blood pressure has been detected.
Touch interface would not be "better."I am really interested in MacOS 16. I personally think that besides making macOS have a touch interface what can they Add to macOS to make it better??
We are getting close to running out of ideas for the next OS.
We have no comprehension, zero, of what actual chip yields may look like to Apple. Or of what specific tech issues might need resolution in order to build the most advanced Ultra and above chips."We" think we see a pattern of base, then PRO/MAX, then Ultra in only 2 (TWO) iterations of the latter. So we expect that pattern(?) vs. applying some "think different" as you are.
To me, it also makes much more sense to (flip it to) LEAD with (M5) Ultra, then PRO/MAX (on the same timeline as now) and then base... for both Mac buyers and Apple as seller. But that isn't the apparent pattern so far, so it can only be as "we" think we see it... and only that "makes sense" because that is how Apple has run it so far. In short, do NOT "think different"... comply.
Most of the folks who could afford v1 AVP probably will also be capable of buying a v2 AVP. But it mostly depends on what capabilities M5 may or may not offer - - and no one has seen M5 yet.Makes you wonder who will be upgrading their vision pro just for an M5 chip :-\.
Especially if there is a tariff war.I expect that whatever they make, it will cost more.
I didn’t say M4 ultra studio. Apple has launched M3 Max/Pro MBP before regular M3, and the launched a iPad Pro with M4 before M4 Pro and Max MBP. May be Apple will Launch M5 ultra first, Ultra is long over due.M4 Max 128gb -> M4 Ultra 256gb -> m4 ??? 512gb
An Ultra with 512gb doesn`t make sense by Apples previous M series RAM schemes. It would have to require a different approach, which I very much doubt is in the cards for M4. Perhaps for M5 w its rumoured different packaging route.
But perhaps we could see a 2x Ultra M4, it would decimate Intel/Arm/Nvidia. I think the Ultra alone will also make for an interesting performance jump.
It depends on how you define working. Apple hasn’t grown in almost 3 years because consumers have stopped buying Apple products regularly and/or interest in Apple products has waned. If that's what Tim Cook is doing, it seems to be working for him and Apple and AAPL shareholders.
If you want it to change, you have to get people to stop buying Apple products and driving up the stock price.
I’m pretty sure that the so-called iPhone “Air” is just an euphemism to let the market know that something different is coming, but not necessarily an ultra-thin and lighter iPhone than the current ones as many people have literally understood it.
Remember that ultra-thin phones tend to bend, plus I don't think the market is expecting a much thinner iPhone these days.
So my bet is that “iPhone Air” is just a coded denomination to refer to a flip or foldable iPhone. I really hope I’m right.
Just time will tell….
That would either be very wasteful in having to have an oversized sensor to allow both horizontal and vertical shooting, adding unneeded expense, or you need to have a mechanical way of rotating the sensor, which adds complexity and expense to the design.fix it so that portrait hold can shoot landscape (as an option)
“New” can go in two different directions so you should be more specific 😆Also I want to see the new prices for the Apple TV
This hasn’t prevented the iPad Pro from becoming thinner. For the 13”, the reduction in thickness was larger percentage-wise than what is rumored for the iPhone Air.Remember that ultra-thin phones tend to bend, plus I don't think the market is expecting a much thinner iPhone these days.

Please explain how that would solve the issue of not having a full-screen landscape preview.Put a square format sensor in and then crop as required.
