i don't think so. these products are already "part of the family".
So after some analysis it’s surely the new HomePod with screen or whatever (hoem hub…)

- New member of the family like you said

- Circular like the video (posted by Tim Cook on X)

- When you look at the apple logo, it’s kinda similar to the iPad Pro m4 wallpaper… which could make sense if the product is a HomePod pro for example…

Get ready to meet the newest member of the family
So it’s likely this is a brand new device, probably home automation related. There has been a lot of rumours going around. This is interesting.

Given what Tim said, I would be surprised if this was just the new SE or M4 Macs.

new lower end apple vision
Yeah it looks like a VR lens to me too. It would be a wildcard though since the Apple Vision rumours have been all over the place as-of-late.

As for the reasonable assumption it’s the new SE - Part of me thinks Apple really don’t want provide any fanfare for the new iPhone SE - I think it’ll cannibalise a lot of higher end iPhone sales. The era of phones being good enough as a commodity may be here.

Maybe Tim will introduce a new space exploration initiative, and really put the LAUNCH (or lunch?) in Launch!

Or maybe he'll just introduce a new base iPhone. 🤷‍♂️

They aren't putting out an advance notice for MBA spec updates and an iPhone SE are they? Gotta be something more to it no?

The rounded “indent” inside the box with the light-leak at the bottom is kinda reminiscent of the HomePod face when Siri is activated, and the background within the Apple logo would suggest a screen, so my guess is a new HomePod-esque device.

We are dropping the Apple Ring on Valentines Day

Think it should be a new iPhone SE or a new MacBook Air. Will know soon. More chances for it to be the SE. Both devices should be released in the next few weeks.

The circle represents one camera for the new SE model. Look at the standard wallpapers for the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. Two circles on the 16, three on the Pro. How has nobody got this already?
Is it just me who see that the apple logo is a lens ?

Apple Vision "non pro" ?
Yes, further corroborating that this represents indeed the iPhone SE camera lens.
