Yes, there are a lot of ways you could adapt your workflow to make up for the technical shortcomings of your toolset.

Or you could choose a better toolset. Really your call.
Yeah, those extra 3 seconds a week really add up. You’ll have 2.5 minutes back by the end of the year!

What a weird omission. I think that's changed. I did use a Magic Mouse at work for a while (a few years ago) and I remember it throwing up alerts repeatedly as it got lower. Very lame to not give proper warning. Anyway, if it was me, I'd probably make a recurring reminder to plug it in 1x/month overnight.

As of last week it hadn't changed, and I'm running the latest Sequoia on a Mac Studio.

Again, I just keep a spare (actually two, one is for traveling with my laptop).

MX3 is sweet if you're right-handed. I know, the majority... that's why I've been using Magic Mouse for 20 years :)

key rumors for the Magic Mouse 3 so far include a relocated charging port
This is disappointing. If they do this, what are people going to complain about? It was almost comical in my opinion of how it bothered some people.

The only way they can make this mouse work for me is it becomes a lot taller. It’s too flat.

Don't worry - there'll still be plenty to complain about. Apple's mouse designs have ranged from mediocre to terrible for at least 30 years now and simply moving the charging port isn't going to change that. The charging port gets so much focused hate because it is the kind of obviously bad design not seen in an Apple mouse since the release of the original G3 iMac.

See, even you have found something else.

My point was at least for me the charging port location did not really matter. The mouse design was not comfortable for me to use. Complaining about the charge board location on an Apple mouse is like complaining about a Hyundai Elantra not having an interior trunk release.

At least it’s better than the Jony Ive puck mouse 😂

Mx3 is a terrible mouse. Especially if you are using it with a mac. I bought it and immediately returned it.

Plenty of us will disagree, but that is fine. Right now, there is a whole plethora of good mice out there that you can choose from. As long as Apple doesn't do something silly like make some kind of key functionality only work with an Apple mouse, you will continue to be able to choose whichever mouse suits your needs best.

I've been using an M720 for years now and find it perfect for my needs.

That would make no sense but with Apple you never know what 'great new feature' they may introduce.
