Decided to give the iOS 10 Public Beta a whirl, though I think I'll probably hold off until the final release of macOS before updating that...much more to go wrong on my computer than on my iPhone.

My iPhone 5c is finally starting to feel a bit long in the tooth. The typing lag in Facebook was dreadful, though I haven't used the beta enough to know if that's an OS-wide thing or just Facebook being funky at the moment. Still sticking to my plan of using the 5c until it dies on me, though I may change my mind if I switch cell providers in the near future and decide to take advantage of the $500 savings on a new phone that most carriers will throw at me for signing a two-year contract.

Decided to treat myself to some new wallpaper for the first time in years to celebrate the occasion.

Now to look into what iOS 10 has actually changed and improved...

I wish I could permanently have the time right justified as it appears when you view the widgets screen.
Thumbs up for having Pokemon GO. :D

I was running a beta for iOS 9.3.3. I installed the new profile and it started installing iOS 9.3.3 beta 5 instead of iOS10. I tried deleting the profile and installing again from Apple's site, but it still downloads 9.3.3 beta 5. Is there a way to force it to download iOS 10? The profile I get is not version-specific. It just says "iOS Beta Software Profile".

Open this in Safari and Download its legit and worked for me

What to expect? Crashes, some apps not working, safari doing weird things, random reboots, but nothing tremendously showstopping.
Still going through with it. I want to go bug hunting.
What to expect?
Bugs.

Or more accurately what to expect?
Using Feedback Assistant so much they might actually have to turn off feedback lol :p

Just for the record ... I no longer OTA updates or beta versions .... haven't since iOS 7 was in Beta. I always install via iTunes, and have thankfully experienced very little of the issues people have posted over the many years

I installed iOS10 yesterday, had a play - did not think it was impressive enough (to keep it with bugs) with enough "new" features that I want to use now, so went back to 9.3. Does not yet appear to be a revolutionary update!

Not available for me yet, I hear they are released in tiers (from Apple support) or in this case tears? joke. Not sure how the tiers work but normally three days later for me. ??

I just downloaded it late last night. I've been playing with it, most of the apps I really use seem about the same to me. You do have some different features but it sexpected in a Beta of an iOS for it to be a little choppy. As in slower than what were used to at points but I do notice my battery life has improved on my 6s by a tad.

Tested the new alarms they are proven to be effective. I'm excited to see more features in the new Beta. But if you are not a pro or you know a friend who knows nothing about the iOS be sure you have them backup their data incase it becomes too much for them. I've so many backups made it's not really a big deal for me.

Any who thats my take back on iOS Beta, good luck to all of those who are interested in trying.

I found my first bug I just reported. If you go to the app store, go to the search tab, from trending search select "Pokemon Go Chat" check out the only app that is listed by calling up the details of the app, download it from that page, and once complete, return to the search results. Your UI should have now disappeared. :p To get it back, restart the app.

Works fine on my iPad and iPhone. Don't see any issues.
I have duplicates all over the place. I swipe up on an album and it goes back to the previous screen (really weird). I can't scroll to the bottom of an albums songs. I long-press a song and the view goes out of the album back one screen, so I'm left with a popup menu attached to nothing (??). Adding to playlists seems to be not working (need to test more). Overall navigation is broken enough to be frustrating. I had to stop using it and go back to my phone. I'll play around some more but it is a bit crippled on my iPad Air 2.

i tested the waters, but i returned to ios 9. Everything seemed functional, but it is too laggy for a primary device.(to be expected). My main beef was adjusting to no 'swipe to unlock'. Its just so hard to adjust to that.

I have been on iOS10 since it came out yesterday and I've experienced no crashes or major issues so far.
It seems pretty stable to me. Yes, I am running it on my primary device.
Although we haven't seen a lot of app updates for iOS 10, they all have been working fine for me (My most frequently used apps : Safari, Waze, Google Maps, Facebook, Amazon, Reddit, Whatsapp and Tapatalk).

However, I am not able to used chromecast via Netflix iOS app after the update. Not a deal breaker. PS4 to the rescue! :)

I had to unload my music from my iPhone to free up enough storage for the iOS 10 Beta and wasn't able to get it back onto my iPhone this morning in time for work. (Apparently iTunes or my iPhone hung up during the syncing process.) Had a long quiet drive into work and now I have a long quiet drive home to (not) look forward to. Ugh.

Has anyone that has installed iOS 10 and has a watch still been able to use the watch properly on OS 2.2.1?
Yes, i'm using the watch properly without the notifications that I usually get.

Does anyone know when we can expect the AW OS3 upgrade?

What to expect? A lot of bugs with all all the newly borrowed features. iOS 10 will have the longest beta period.

Installed and downgraded back to 9.3.2. I consider the overall response inside app is quite good. But system-wise it's still lagging obviously. Compared to the wired white rich notification, press home to unlock, never used emoji, I prefer the overall smoothness and quick response in my 6+. Most of the new function requires more powerful iphone which wouldn't be worth upgrading until next year. The 9 is already a good enough ios to use everyday.

What are everyone's thoughts on the pull down Notifications and how they've changed? They're okay...I like some of the stuff (Up Next w/map and even Contacts), but like the look of 9's better.

I've been using iOS 10 with watchOS 2.2.1! Everything on my watch still works perfectly. Something was going on with the Bluetooth on my phone yesterday, so my watch wasn't connected. I reset both and it's working fine. I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT battery drain on my watch though. I expected it with my phone, but I've been wearing my watch for about 6 hours today from full charge and it's at 53%. Normally it isn't this low so soon and I haven't been using it any more than normal.

it works on the iPad relatively well. Youtube has some issues as the home button no longer appears. Won't install iOS 10 beta on the phone, it's too critical for me to have a working phone.

I've been using the Dev Beta since day 1 and I have only had minimal issues (Facebook crashed every once in a while before beta 2) and the Taco Bell app didn't work but basically everything else has been great. I even had my husband download it so we can send each other the different kinds of iMessages and I honestly want to send invisible ink messages to everyone I know so they have to swipe over it.
I did have 1 issue today that has never happened to me, but I had an alarm at 10:30am to go on break and when I swiped up to disregard it, my phone kept vibrating, I went into my clock app and turned off that 10:30 alarm but it was still vibrating so I force closed all my apps in multi tasking and it still vibrated until I held the power button for 5 seconds and then the whole phone shut off. Other than that one annoyance, I would say that beta 2 is really great and packs a ton of features that I can't wait for all my friends and family to have iOS 10 so they can see the awesome add-ons that Apple does in iMessage...if only I can get used to NOT sliding to unlock and ending up in my widgets page.

New lock screen is so annoying!

I'm still getting used to it but it seems "ok"
[doublepost=1468013401][/doublepost]I may or may not have an issue with notifications.

After "peeking" or 3d touch expanding a notification I cannot actually tap the notification to launch the related app.

Not sure if this is by design or a bug.

I have to then clear the notification or press the home button to exit out. Either way I lose the reference to what app just sent the notification I just previewed.
