yes touchbar on a laptop is a better feature than a fixed keyboards that, almost half we dont use them since they are on auto (brightness display, keys)
TB is better? How is it better? Give me at least one use case scenario where TB is better? I'm not being sarcastic, nor trying to 'pick up a fight'. I'm serious.
I will give you my use case scenario, but also from a lot of people I know that use macs:
* I use keyboard shortcuts for EVERYTHING. And I do mean everything. For all apps that I use + custom keyboard shortcuts using keyboard maestro. No touchbar can compete with this, since I use them without looking at the keyboard, and I have feedback.
* I am a developer, so any looking off screen is a no go for me. And the ESC key is pretty important, I hate pushing on glass surface to get the ESC key.
And all designers that I know of personally use keyboard shortcuts of course. Only use case scenario where TB is useful is for newbies to the platform. Great for them. At least on start, but what about later on? Those users won't learn keyboard shortcuts like they are supposed to. And that's a big minus in my book.
I owned rmb15 2016, and returned it after a week of usage. Besides lousy battery life, TB is my biggest complaint with the machine. Pretty useless (imho of course), and glitchy as hell.
But of course, I could be wrong. I will gladly listen to any pro TB argument.
