Ability to sync to other Apple devices. Limiting it to the phone is a pain in the backside.

Ability to draw routes on the map (loops, not A to B) and send the directions to the watch so you can walk/hike/run round a park or nature reserve for instance and the watch can tell you pace, time/distance to the end and the route.

- 4K optical projector, fully stabilized of course
- Stereo speakers with built-in subwoofer
- Better resistance to immersion in hot lava
- Inertial navigation for independence from satellite nav systems
- 2000 dpi nanoLED display (skip microLED entirely)
- Runs forever off body heat--no battery required

More watch faces or a face store. It's crazy that I can't have a watch face like infograph modular with a large digital time with seconds in the middle and complications on top/bottom.

If we can have Disney Pixar characters why can't we have (or buy) faces with things such as Star Wars (which Disney controls also).

I'd like to have a camera for Facetime calls but space probably makes that not realistic.

Dude, you didn’t even include a ‘selfie camera’, I mean, Who wouldn’t want to take a selfie with their Apple Watch on a 44 mm display? 😁

For me, SoC and like a half week of battery life.

my s4 is still zippy as hell (on the same version its been on forever) but still I don't like when generational updates don't have any bump to the processing power. It feels like they're milking it.

Even then, not sure what it would take for me to upgrade. May even skip s6, etc.

s0->s1->s4 path for me, would've never done s0->s1 if not for it reaching end of software support and being slow as heck

Hopefully S7 will feature some of that stuff. I'm flabbergasted AW's still not lava-proof.

Another oleophobic coating that will prevent my watch looking like garbage after only one year like my Watch4.
They should also add that on the sides of the SB models too. SBTi and especially SBSS are smudge magnets.

So let’s reflect for a second, does the Apple Watch really need a processor bump? They just introduced last year for the first time, the Series 4 has the 64-bit architecture/faster dual core processor, why would the Series 5 possibly need a major upgrade in terms of processing power to support what features? The performance on the Apple Watch isn’t need of any upgrades, it’s Matured and efficient.

You made the comment you feel like ‘they’re milking it’, Ok? What are they milking? The fact that they just introduce 64 bit architecture? Or the faster dual core processor which trumps any other smart watch on the market in terms of speed and power? Not following your logic here.

It’s not at all needed I just feel like complaints of battery life could’ve been offset by a different chipset instead of a controller and different display type and variable refresh rate. Feels like ipad 2 to ipad 3 to me, though not a fair comparison because it’s not like series 5 is pushing 4x the pixels as predecessor with same compute part of the SoC

AOD is something many people were after. Many other people, including those people interested in AOD, want next level battery life like we’ve seen with XR/11/Pros

I would like to see custom watch faces and custom complications. But that may involve implementing a theme engine and that would likely increase the code base quite a bit.

I don’t think a blood pressure monitor is going to happen because the watch band would have to include a bellows/air bladder and it would be bulky and prone to breakage.

As much as I enjoy Face ID on my phone, I just don’t see it working on the AW. Face ID would require making the display smaller or the bezel larger in order to include the dot projector, camera and sensors. So which would be acceptable; same case size with smaller display or same display size with larger case and bezels?

better battery life, native sleep tracking, and microLED display are welcomed

i just got the S5 so even those features popping up on the series 6 won't entice me to upgrade next year, so im not gonna be in the target audience for sure
