What was the happiest day of your life?

It was in 2008 at a northern Virginia rally and she arrived to thank her loyal supporters. Several of us were at the front of the assembled, holding huge posters of support, and she came and shook our hands, dignified like, not a hurried appreciation but a genuine recognition. Very proud moment for many, myself included.

I don't know, my wedding comes to mind but then the birth of my twin girls is probably tied with number one as well :)

5 August 2009: Same as lukenn, when I found out I got the results to go to the Uni that I wanted to go to. The best decision I've ever made so far! :D

When I found out I got accepted into Johns Hopkins.... of course that was all crushed a few days later when I found out that the school required me to get financial forms from my estranged father who refused to sign anything because he thought he might actually have to pay for my education....

While my wedding day was awesome, it was the day after that was the happiest day of my life - no wedding stress, no other people to entertain, just my and I with no worries.

A beautiful sunny day in Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, California. It was the start of a long vacation where my girlfriend and I explored parks and breweries along the west coast from Sacramento to Seattle. I asked her to marry me on a hill over looking the valley and she said yes. We spent the rest of the day driving north to Eureka with our cell phones turned off and keeping the secret to ourselves.

I've been trying to figure out one of two dates and I think they are probably tied, so:

June 6, 2005: The day the horrors of my childhood began to make some sense.

December 31, 2009: The day I married the most wonderful man in the world.

To continue a theme here... The day i married this cute little blonde, that somehow has put up with me for the last twenty years. The birthdays of our children would be a close second.

As a Christian, I'd love to say the day I made the big decision for Him, but i was just 10 and it was the start of that journey. That would count as the most important for me.
