A VW 1300. Taught me more about lift-off oversteer than any other car since. :( :D

Only have a partial, but suitably arty shot to hand... ;)

2002 BMW 525iA, E39.

mine is a BMW 545i with everything:

Does this mean that you guys robbed a bank when you were 18, or are you talking about a "First Car" that someone else actually paid for?

First car that I actually paid for on my own was a used '79 Honda Civic. That's the one that had the little 12" wheels. Mine was in white. Here's one found on the web:

I was joking

My first car was a '97 Maxima. I still prefer it's design over my current car, a '01 Maxima, and even the '07 models.

1992 Pontiac Grand Am GT

I got it my junior year of HS in 1999 with only 50,000 miles on it. I sure do miss those days.

Mine: 1981 VW Golf 1.0L

vw-golf-mk1.jpg

A great car whose engine was leaking oil at a monstrous rate and was burning it mentally on motorways. Then i had a 1986 mk1 Nissan Micra. Those things were bombproof.

My first car (and still current car actually!) is a Volkswagen Lupo.

Soft blue in colour (some believe it to be purple?!). It's nothing much. Basic "E" model, 1.0 Litre engine, but does have alloys and power stering which aren't standard for the E model. I love it though! It's so economical and gets me from A to B to C to D and a few hundred times round the block!

Been everywhere in the country with this thing, it doesn't stop! Love it to bits!

My first love. This isn't the exact car, (it's been a long time ago) but everything besides the wheels and the cb antenna. Same year, same color. Paid $900 for it on 1995. Man, I didn't realize I actually miss that car a little. :(

Edit: Kingsly, what year is your beemer? Two years ago, I bought a 318is from a man named Kingsley, I thought that was kind of funny, is it a name thing?
