The Apple ][e. My brother has wanted to throw it away, but I think it's a collector's item. Or if not, there's so much sentimental value...

A five-year old hand-me-down Pismo. That lasted me two years. Then I got a 12 inch PB. Two years later, I moved to Intel with a 2.4 2 Foot iMac. Sweet.

Macintosh LC II (1992) -- $1400
16 MHz, 40 MB hard drive

Had some good times on that bad boy. Ran programs like Microsoft Works, The Print Shop, Hypercard and was connected to a StyleWriter of course. Glider 3.0 was by far the reason to own this CPU though...greatest game ever...directing a paper airplane through a house.

An original Macintosh LC was the computer that I really became a fanatic on. Played Vette! and used Kid Pix to make animations. Man, I wish that HDD was still intact, all 40mb's of it.
Come to think of it my Flash drive has more memory than my first 3 Macs combined.

My first Mac was my iBook G3 I got for my birthday when I was 9, that died last year and I am saving for a black MacBook ATM. I did get a Power Macintosh 7100/80 for £3 at a car boot sale but I dont even know if it works as I have no cables, moniter, keyboard and mouse...

Four years ago, I got a 12" PowerBook G4 1GHz with 768MB RAM running 10.3 from my friend. I was kind of reluctant to use it at first, and stuck to Windows on my 17" Toshiba laptop, but after several months I gave the Mac a chance and fell in love with it. Since then, I've owned a PowerMac G5 and now have a Mac Pro and 15" PowerBook G4.

My first Mac was the original Bondi Blue iMac G3 I got 4 years ago. Loved it so much I upgraded to an 1.25GHz eMac G4 in October of the same year. It was the perfect computer for me, and still runs great today.

PowerBook G4: August 2005. Still running strong except that I just got the new '08 Mac Pro and now all of a sudden my PowerBook runs a lot slower :D.

ibook

Got an ibook G4 in '04 got smashed on an airplane so in '07 (year later) I got and macbook Pro. It was like 3 months b4 the new one came out, but i needed to get off windows. Don't ask y i got a Pro, I am what you call an amateur-amateur digital photographer. I also do stuff in a real darkroom.

My current one is also my first. A mid level Macbook, 2.2ghz, 2gb ram, 144mb shared vid ram, 120gb HD and leopard 10.5.2

Getting as far away from Vindoz as I can.

First family Mac was a Performa 6360 with the apple printer.

Before that, I recall using a Mac classic at my father's office. He was a printer, and had a deep-seated hatred for anything but a Mac when doing design, graphics, etc.

My first Mac that I personally owned is a 2.16 C2D 20" iMac purchased from the refurb store.

After a brief collecting binge, I now have two G4 Cubes, an iMac 15" lamp, an iBook G4, and I am in the process of acquiring a G3 blue tower.

Someday I intend to own an original Mac classic, just like the first one I ever used. My wife's dad has one, now I just need to convince him to sell it...
