my worst christmas happened two years ago. it was spent in a hospital bed, waking up from a monthlong drug-induced coma. i was a bit sad i'd also missed thanksgiving.

One Christmas Eve night when I was a kid (like probably 7 or 8) I woke up with an ear infection and spent the night in the Emergency room...
My best was the year I got my horse for Christmas (10 years ago this Christmas!) It was a complete surprise.

Wow...I want a pony! Not that I have a particular fondness for horses, but rather so I could tell people that I got a pony for Christmas!
gotta be this one coming. my first xmas without my Mother. she lived with cancer for a while and we had great christmas last year. My brother and his wife flew over from Canada with their 6 week old baby just for my mother (Eleanor) to see so it was really special.

I am lucky so far; my "worst" Christmas was the one I spent in bed with flu.
