I think we can all agree that the iPhone is an amazing piece of technology that's completely changed the cell phone market forever. So I thought it'd be fun to see where we were 10 years ago. What phone were you using?

I had the Nokia 8890, which I thought was awesome at the time, because it was blue backlit and had a slide-cover over the keys. It didn't have a color screen, and it had a pull-out antenna. o_O

Can't remember honestly. I believe it was either a T-Mobile Sidekick (Color Version) or this ghastly little thing

I was using this:

Old Style Nokia, not sure the model number.
It is quite amazing coming from this to the iPhone 4. I just remember I could play snake and make calls.

Nothing, got my first cell phone in 2003. I thought it was so amazing back then, since it had a camera. I never would've imagined I'd have a phone like my iPhone back then.

I believe this was 1998 or so. Same phone they used on the X-Files: (still have it)

All I had was my family's landline. But when I went into middle school in 2005, I got my first phone. It was a Motorola Razr V3XX on Cingular. Then a year or two later, it became AT&T. In circa 2008, I got an LG Incite. Awful little phone, that was. Then I got my first (secondhand) iPhone (original) in 2009. In December of 2010, I got my iPhone 3GS.

I was using a Nokia 8210. Amazingly small and light device.
My girlfriend had that one:

I was having the more "manly" Nokia 6210, myself:

...but I secretly coveted that gorgeous little 8210, that is perhaps my favorite mobile phone (not counting smart phones) to this day, only rivaled by the phone that replaced my 6210, the Sony Ercsson T68i:

In '01 I got my first Cell phone. Had Verizon then and I got some Audiovox flip phone that cost me ~$250 after rebates because it had a high color screen. It had a pull out antenna lol

I think I may still have it somewhere.
