Phone 10yrs ago.

My very first phone was this Sony piece of crap in 1998, I went through three of them before switching to something else.

Then I got the Ericsson T39 in 2001, wow what a great phone!

I didn't get a mobile with Cingular until 2001. I got a Nokia 8210, in blue, then a Motorola v400 about two or so years later.

That was my first phone as well, and I still have it. I opted for the "woodgrain" front cover for it and thought I was really on the cutting edge of style....

Man, have times changed!!
Yeah, that was a phone you always left in your car because it was too damn big to put in your pants pocket!

Nokia something or other. It was a candybar type phone, pull out antenna, green screen. I could text on it and make calls. I don't even think it had snake. Had about 35 minutes talk time on the battery, but you could get the extended battery that added about 3/4" of thickness to the phone.

Lol :D
Brings back alot of memories.
Back then there were not many people with cellphones and games like snake were top of the line:D

I usually left it in the glove compartment because
A: No one ever called me unless they wanted money
B: I mainly had it in case of emergencies, which was most people's reason back then
And
C: It WAS too big to carry around unless you had cargo pants/shorts, and I don't remember wearing cargo pants back then.

Ooh I had one of those but the non Bluetooth version, I think it was turquoise green?

I had a surprisingly compact little Kyocera with Sprint. Terrible call quality. Rugged phone though.

That's my cellphone history...haha. I've had a cellphone for about 12 years

That's awesome. The startac was my dad's first phone (1997 or something) on LA Cellular, which eventually got bought by verizon. He used it for years until it broke.. It was the first cell in our family until I got the Nokia 8890 when I started college.
