I really want some kind of biometric identification, and am not talking about silly finger scanner, so IT KNOWS it's me who just picked up the phone, no more silly swapping and passwords, while maintaining the phone case slick. So yes a non-visible sensor am talking about.

So as to something other phones don't have... it won't be hardware, everyone else has different and bigger screen sizes, cameras, batteries. Its hard to imagine iPhone 5s with better hardware specs.

Maybe the next iPhone will be unbreakable? That would be awesome.

It will have to be better/unique via software. Right now it seems like it's just catching up on some android features (like quick access to settings, google now).

Would like to see siri get faster, more instant. Would love to see better integration with OS X.

To me the HTC One is what the iPhone 5 should of been. I want front facing speakers and better speakerphone performance. Don't knock it till you hear the HTC One in person!

Some time of gate scandal. There was antenna gate, then scuff gate. I can't wait till Apple waterproofs a device, then we can have water gate.

iOS7 according to Apple, however until I get the final release on my IP5 and see what it can do, and Android device with ICS or JB has a decent OS, anything older than ICS really stinks in my eyes

the same advances and minuscule changes that others have had that weren't available prior? you can seamlessly move between phones, and operation is smooth and intuitive. realize it or not, it takes constant refinement and innovation to keep up something like that and maintain the freshness.

oh and i would be very, very disappointed if the iphone suddenly became too large to use with just one hand.

There won't be a killer feature. Ios 7 was announced, did you get any great things coming from there? Nope, all you people that are looking for something killer or super shouldn't have an iPhone because you are not going to get it. You wait yearly for upgrades which come and they are incremental ,to say the least. Ios 7 coming in the fall, and still behind android, really, this is what people stay around for? Android ,by far isn't perfect, but way ahead of ios and runs as smooth or smoother now than ever. Just my opinion.....

I'm thinking that it will be a fingerprint sensor...that actually works and is useful.

I don't think I'm creative enough to imagine what it will be. However Apple hasn't added addition hardware to an S model so I imagine they will keep that trend.

I'm thinking there will be some additional piece of software that is exclusive to the 5S. Plus your usual hardware upgrades (processor, GPU, etc).

I've yet to be able to guess what Apple does with their software each year. So I'm not surprised I can't see what they would do this year.

The Biggest feature will be the screen size. The other smartphone companies have moved beyond the tiny image to screens that are extremely useful. Apple will stay with its miniature 4 inch screen and be left behind in the dust. Mark my words....this is truth and this is what you will see on the iPhone 5s.

Perhaps, but I like my handset to be a phone first, and a media device second. As long as it's called the iPhone the 4inch model will always be the primary device. The moment we get an iPhablet, the iPad becomes obsolete. Which market do you think is bigger at the moment, tablets or phablets?

I suggest you start looking for a new phone.

For me, if they don't have a larger screen size, I'm switching.

As SJism23 mentioned. Start looking elsewhere. iPhone 5S will have the same form factor. iPhone 6 will to, but with a smaller bezel that will allow Apple to increase the screen of the phone a tad bigger. I like the form factor today. ;) We get these wider complaints all the time, but Apple is not like Samsung and some others. They do it there way which is how I like it.

Won't see any real upgrades until the iPhone 6 comes out. I expect it will be a phone designed directly for iOS 7.
