IBM doesn't class the chips as 'G' processors, they're called 603 etc... hence the MR post levels. The chips were labelled 'G3, G4 and G5' by Apple...

Well one previous poster did cite a non-Apple article which referred to their new chip as a G6. Fair enough IBM might label their processors with 603xx etc. but markets them as Gx in the same way intel does, we just know them as Core2Duo and Xeons etc.
