What Will Happen if you remove all your browsers from your computer

The point is without the address, you can't connect.
I'm not in the habit of memorizing ip addresses and ftp server addresses, but maybe you are.
ftp works fine without a browser. I used it before I even knew what Mosaic was.
Not talking about forumers here, but some of the public seems unaware that www is not 'the internet'.

I started with 300 baud and phone headset acoustic connectors. Those were the days. I remember DL'ing some small low level grayscale pics. It took forever.

I remember out typing my connection a few times.
After upgrading twice to 2,400 baud, I remember how pissed I would be when you had to drop to 300 baud to get your connection to work. That sucked to say the least.

BTW, to this day, it bugs me when folks just type apple.com. In those days you needed the full address and not all started with www.

so how exactly would one download a browser using the terminal if you had no installed current browser? Without prior knowledge of a correct ftp address and p/w how would it be acheived?
One time one of my friends did this to see what would happen and ended up a couple of days without the interwebz until one day at school another one of my friends gave him safari on a flash drive.
Part of it also has to do with the fact that I visit many non-www sites.
So I must type in the full address.
I love the core dump. It means you've hit a weak spot.
Put a Windows 7 beta on a P4 and repeatedly crashed it for one reason or another. It was kinda fun actually.
