What will you do on the 11th if all the 16GB iPhones are gone?

I would most likely cry and end up running around town trying to find a 16gb then give in buy a 8gb and regret it for the whole of my contract.

Wonder if they had problems with the 16gb phones and can't have them for the 11th, or if their 16gb chip supplier had problems delivering enough of them to make the 16gb models on time?

I really don't want to wait any longer. I waited a year for the thing to gain 3G and GPS, then to be announced at WWDC, and then have a launch date of July 11th.

If it's delayed by more than two weeks, 8GB model it is.

wait for a 16gb and if they have a shortage of 16gb for about a month, i'd probably just hold out completely till jan and see if a 32gb comes out

but i don't think there will be shortages, apple products are impulse buys, so the worst thing is to run out of stock and let people actually think more and more about buying before buying it

I'll probably take a long walk off a short pier...(oh wait, there aren't any piers near Palm Springs, dang, I'm gonna' have to drive 3-4 hours to get to the Santa Monica Pier!)...I'm a dead man...
