Trade it in for a PC with a good video card.
Just joking, but I am scared that the video card(s) will be a disappointment.

    Anyway...
Video editing of many different kinds. (FCP, Combustion, Compressor etc)
    3D Rendering
    Play X-Plane
    Photoshop
Edit and Make DVDs. (MacTheRipper, DVD2oneZ, Toast 8, DVD SP, Cinematize etc)
    Internet
    e-mail
    Word processing
    Budgeting.
    iPod, iTunes downloading.
    Maybe screw around with Windows.
    Illustrator
    Quark
    GTD type organizing
Porn (just joking, maybe not, well maybe, no won't do it, well...)

Drive around in my flying car with my robot servants, listening to the latest reports on the Mars colony and wondering if we are ever getting out of Iraq.

Check e-mail, Safari, update my iPhone & iPods, see what the weather is, check the time of day, look up addresses & phone in Address Book, and stream music & video to my :apple:TV...

I sure hope the new Mac Pro will be able to handle all of this and obviously I will need that new video card.

Final Cut Studio, Civ4, World of Warcraft, and distributed.net. Tons of ssh. PostgreSQL development. X-Plane and a gigantic iPhoto Library.

    surf the net

Actually, real time play and edit 2K and HD dpx frames while Shake renders flipbooks, Motion plays multi-layered hi-rez graphics, and Compressor encodes huge batches of clips to different formats.

I don't need 8 cores, I need 32. But I will happily use 8 until more are available.

Get 8 30" ACD's and play 8 different 3D games all at the same time. Wait, the video card will probably be a Geforce4 or something... nvm.

More computing! I don't care at all about the debates over graphics cards (I bought three of the simple GeForce 7300 cards), but I love the speed at which I can compute with my MacPro. See my signature. It's great.

    Link Aggregation Is Your Solution

No problem. Just buy multiple 8 core Mac Pros and use Link Aggregation to get them all working together as one.

    That surprises me.
I didn't think you were looking for that powerful of a video card.
