I was going to use it towards an 80gb iPod Classic but I can't find my reciept anywhere so I don't know if I will get the credit. I tried to get the ATT store to print me another reciept but they said they couldn't do it.:(

RINGTONES!!! LOL... J/K! Couldn't resist. :D

but a couple $50 dollar iTunes cards isn't a bad idea... ;)

I hope there is not a "short" life span on this $100 credit we get!
Don't you think Steve might make us use them BEFORE the holidays?

He wouldn't dare!

As for the short shelf life - I was thinking Nov when they release it in Europe.
That's why I did the silly grinning face. Half a joke. And I knew others would laugh at my naivete (or not - time will tell) But I sort of suspect that will happen though it may just mean bad PR - iPhone babies getting screwed again.

Personnally, I think he should have followed his old marketing plan. Release a new model at the same price and discount the prior. But maybe he just want to sell out the old before November...Still a betrayal of sorts to those that buy. I dunno, something is a little fishy here.

I don't care- I'm happy and didn't care about the $100 credit but it's a nice gesture.

And.....?

Is there any word how we get the refund?

When are we gonna get our 100 bucks?

Popped in to the Apple Store today to see the new stuff. The nano is just amazing. Pictures do not adequately portray this gem. While I don't need one, I'm going to take one for $49 with my credit.

ANyone want to buy a 4GB 1G nano?

i would if i had money

I saw a kickass Jack Spade laptop bag at my local Apple Store for $185. I think I'll be dropping my benjamin credit on that.

i have my eye on the Synergy laptop backpack by swiss gear..

but on my receipt i have 2 iphones, i use one and i gave the other to my good friend (as a thank you present for doing me a HUGE favor during the past year)

if i somehow get $200 instead of $100, then maybe i'll get one of those new ipods. ***however I still think my first gen 2gb nano is the best music ipod out of every single ipod past and present :)

im going for a bluetooth headset and a new nano. :) (i have 3 credits)

And, your point is?

You do realize that the $200 is your own money, correct?

It's our own money that we must spend (eventually) at Apple. What is your point? Wait will you really NEED something I guess. That's not like most of us to do!

My point is that you're acting as if you're getting a mini for $229, which you are not. You are getting it for $429. This type of excitement is exactly why in store credit is such a valuable marketing tool.
