I haven't decided yet. I think probably Leopard, but I'd also like an iPod classic. I'll be getting Leopard regardless, and I don't need an iPod classic, so I think if I get Leopard with the gift card, I won't get an iPod classic at all. Whereas, if I buy an iPod classic with the gift card (plus the extra of course), I'll still get Leopard. Knowing that, I kind of want to get an iPod classic with the gift card. I know that makes no sense since their the same financially, but it's a weird psychological thing for me.

Just got the email that .Mac is up in a month so maybe can get it for $69 at the Apple Store and use the rest for iTMS GC I guess.

Leopard...or the Jawbone BT headset...or maybe a good wired headset with an integrated mic.

...from my iPhone...

We will all l need to spend the $100 on this some day.

The battery, If you keep your iPhone for two years chances are you will be sending it back to Apple for a battery. I charge mine every night, and at a life cycle of 350-400 charges, that is about a year. I am looking at this $100 as Apple giving me a free battery in the future.

the battery is said to have 80% capacity after 400 charge cycles, not to say that it will only last 400 cycles.

i don't know what to get with my $100. leopard or airport extreme router?

If the credit lasts a year, I'll wait and use it on the next iPhone version (my theory is that a minor revision will come in January and a major one will come in the summer).

Otherwise it will go towards Leopard, or maybe iTunes Product Red gift cards so $10 of it will go to charity. That's how I've been buying all of my iTunes store stuff lately anyway.

Leopard($69) + iPhone Apple care (another $69, sure, I need to pay extra...)

So let me get this straight, they're giving anyone that has purchased an Iphone for the previous high price a $100 gift card?
What do you need to do to get that?
Someone point me to the info please.
Thanks.

I jumped the gun.

I just bought an Airport Extreme Base Station and iWork'08 when they were released.

That decision will be made by Leopard's release. If it turns out to be fantastic, and I can prove to myself that the latest top of the line Mini is better than my 1.42GHz PPC Mini, I might just buy the latest Mini.

So, either Leopard, or a new Mini with Leopard preloaded.

As even a cursory search would reveal, the details have not yet been released. We'll know next week.
