Oren:

Get the Power Glide double kick pedal, and Audix mics (except the kick. Get an AKG d112 for the kick.) The i5 is great on snares, and I love the F90 on toms. The i% will set you back about $70. The F90's go for about $65 (although there are 3 on eBay right now for $10/ea). A D112 will go for about $175-$200. For overheads, you'll laugh, but MXL 2001s will work for overheads very well, and they're inexpensive (If you don't believe me on their quality, Fleetwood Mac used them on their last album). I am a former professional drummer in Nashville and this is a great setup.

Thanks, if i had the money / wasn't saving all my money to go to college i'd probably be heading to the store right now... I guess i'll just have to live with my DW 7000 series double bass pedal, Zildjian ZXT 20'' Medium Ride, and be mic-less at gigs unless they provide them :p

As for your drum choices, I myself own the Iron Cobra Power Glide and it is the best. It is such a nice pedal I wouldn't trade it for my life. I have tried the rolling glide as well and it is not as good for double bass rolls. It is a good pedal for doing slow bass beats (not going fast) but once you start going fast, it feels weird.

As for the drum mics, I would recomend Shure mics, because if you get the cheap stuff it really shows, and is not good for recording or live performances.

And as for the ride cymbal, I am wondering if you have tried the sweet ride because I have my friend owns it and he says he doesn't like it. I own the 21" Sabian Hand Hammered Raw Bell dry ride that I got 100 dollars off from ebay brand new... best ride I have ever used. Since I can tell you are in the market for that sort of stuff (unless you don't have enough money) i just thought I'd throw that out there.

I have actually tried the Sweet A and love it, but i guess certain things aren't for everyone. That's a great deal you got, i'm just way too nervous to purchase something of eBay because of fraud... call me old fashioned i guess :p

EDIT: Now that i'm thinking about it, with all that money in this hypothetical thread i could really be looking at a Paiste or Bosphorus ride! Those are so sick...

If I had $10,000 to play with, I'd be scanning the estate sales for "old guitars"

I'll be right there with you! I'd look for old tele's and Gibsons.

I scored a sweet 1978 Gibson ES-335 on Ebay from a collector. It almost makes me cry it sounds so good. :D
