What would you do if someone asked to see your iPhone?

What if you were walking down the street and you have your iPhone out and a complete stranger randomly says "Cool, an iPhone! Can I hold it?" what would you do? I had a similar thing happened to me before so I'm curious to what everyone else would do.
 
friend yes, total stranger to be honest would be closer to f**k off, maybe that's just a London thing though because here that's how a lot of muggings start

i ask my friends who have iphones to see them all the time. everyone knows im the biggest apple freak at school, and since i dont have one they let me.😀
 
I'd hold it up for them and say "See?" Then when they ask if they can hold it, I will hold it up for them again and say "See?".

If the premise is that the person looks like they're going to steal it, then no, I wouldn't let them hold it. However, if the premise is that I'm worried about them dropping or breaking it, then no, I'm not worried. It's not a jewel.
 
Random person in the street? Hell, no, why would they even ask? It's not like they couldn't walk into any Applestore and play around themselves if they thought it was that cool.

A stranger that I've been having a conversation with? Sure. You know, like I was chatting a retail sales person.

Here's another question - would you let a random person hold it if they were attractive?😉
 
Let's see... would I hand over to a complete stranger a $600 piece of electronics equipment that has all my personal contact and calendar information?

Hmmmm. Let me think about that one and I'll get back to you.... 🙄

If Kim Kardashian walked up to me and asked me if she could hold it, I would say let her.

But that is a topic for a different board.... 😱
 
I wouldn't because it's pretty unrealistic that a person has never played with or come into contact with an iphone. They aren't a big mystery anymore so there's no reason to be curious.
 
nope I wont even let my friends touch it because they always out my old phone right on their face when it is all sweaty and hand back my phone covered in sweat 😡 bleh now I say "I need to make a call real fast but so and so will let you 😉"

and how would you work out if they were going to steal it? 🙄
 
I'd probably just say that i'm busy right now, i can't let my phone go or "i'm in the secret service, nobody is allowed to touch property of the secret service aside from myself"
